EMDR in the Treatment of Adults Abused as Children Hardcover – June 17, 1999

I’m a big fan of all of Laurel Parnell’s work. She is easy to understand, but also very informative and clearly knows the work inside out. I am for ever thankful for her contribution to the field.

Great reference book for those working with adults abused as children.

This manual was a first read on this special population. Though written for the clinician, the content is quite helpful to the layperson as well. The case histories helped put the content into perspective. As someone undergoing EMDR, reading this text helped to alleviate some apprehension as well as reinforce the purpose and experience of EMDR. I highly recommend this text for those people interested in reading a clinician's experience with the process.

Fabulous book and well written for other professionals to understand the positive benefits of this treatment. I will be seeking certification also as I want to offer my clients the very best!

Best EMDR book out there. Laurel Parnell has surpassed Shapiro

Purchased book with a bundle of books suggested for the EMDR training. Even though it may have useful information found concepts redundant, given already read her other books.

Needed this book desperately to work with a client. It arrived very quickly and I actually had time to skim through it before our next appointment.

Excellent book for any EMDR practitioner

This is a book of value from someone who knows EMDR and the client group very well. I'm finding it clear and easy to read and digest.

Es un libro que está bien. Es muy básico por lo que quizás recomendaría bastante más sus libros posteriores que son más completos y están llenos de pistas, especialmente el último de terapia centrada en el apego con EMDR que me ha resultado estupendo y revelador.
