TecScan designed these TEC-6K high-end lights specifically for golf carts - they are loaded with the latest technology. We use 5050 3-chip designed quality LEDs that are very bright. We also designed a unique reflector narrowing the 24 RED LED light beam. These cool-running LED lights are real advancements in lighting. This LiTESeasy clean style, high-strength frame, and low profile will install easily and look great in a variety of locations. Even though these TEC-6K LEDs are much brighter than our previous models, they use very little power. These lights really last - we have had a set on continuously for 14 months. What to expect: LEDs provide a very distinct bright light from the rear; that is why you see them on so many new model cars. Taking into account the power usage, 3 watts for the LED compared to 20 to 110 watts for the incandescent. Our LED tail light is a wise choice for a golf cart.
