Kids outdoor adventures made easier
I purchased this kit for my nephew for Christmas. I thought this would be a perfect gift to aid in his Boy Scout adventures. Once he opened the present, he never put it down. He used every tool in the kit all day long. An excellent product for those outdoor adventurous children. Highly recommend this product.

Upgrade if your life depends on it
This is a handy kit for the price. If your life really depends on this kit, I would select another model with upgraded components. The main problem I found was that the compass is poorly made and had to be coaxed to point north. I replaced this with a high quality compass. The two lights in this kit are not submersible. The whistle in this kit is metal, so consider that if using in winter.

This is a perfect starter kit. Comes with everything you need. Very durable but easy to travel with.

Cracked Case
Highly disappointed! Arrived with a cracked case. Like so many reviews stated, believing it was more or leas an infrequent occurance. The box had little to packing in it. But the product case has to be more or less defective. A great idea for a small kit for kids. Wish it would have panned out.
