Have used it only once but seems to work fine. Nice material. It is, however, a tad difficult to use when you wear glasses.

The picture doesn't do this justice. There is a drawstring at the top of the balacava. It isn't completely closed. It's kind of pointless having an open top on something that is supposed to keep your head and face warm. Other than that, it's pretty cheap manufacturing. The stitching is coming loose after maybe a month and a half of light use. It will keep your face warm, but you'd be better off buying a regular hunting/ski mask.

Okay, this review is coming from the stand point of someone who lives in South Carolina and does not deal with truly cold weather. I bought this for a January trip to Vermont where temperatures were ranging from a high of 13 degrees to a low of minus 10. It was awesome. I hate cold weather, and don't know how to deal with it. Along with a parka, this mask helped to keep me warm. There is a drawstring at the top that you can pull to close the top off. If you open the top, you can pull it down easily to cover just you nose and mouth, or pull it down a little further just to keep your neck warm. Washes easily in the washing machine and super soft material. I would recommend this for anyone venturing into subzero weather.

Bought this for my better half who is quite FUSSY when it comes to anything to wear around his neck or face. Thus far, I have not seen him leave home without it. He loves it!!!!!!!!!!! Lately he has been working with the transit lines......he tends to be in rooms with no heat and exposed to harsh weather especially as of late the deep freeze and constant snow we have been experiencing here on the east coast.I think this is perfect for a fussy guy who doesn't usually wear a scarf (he actually pulls the face part down and uses it as a scarf) and also someone who is picky about their face being covered and has sensitive skin.

The mask itself is a good idea. I wanted it to fit under my helmet and to replace my neck warmer. It did neither. There is too much material on top to fit under the helmet and it does not extend down my neck enough

I do a fair amount of exercise out in the cold, and this mask makes the experience much more enjoyable, and sometimes, during a very cold day, tolerable. I also put it on when shoveling snow or when I know I will be out in the cold for a while. It really keeps the heat from escaping your head and neck areas. You can slip the bottom portion over your nose, or if you like, just pull it under you chin. The drawstring at the top allows you to cinch it up tight. The material does not itch my forehead and face like other material has done in the past.

There were less expensive products on Amazon, but I didn't want take any chances, having been advised by doctors that, because of certain medical conditions, breathing in too much cold air could have serious consequences. This balaclava did the job this January during a period of extreme cold, snow, rain etc. when I had to walk my daughter's dog three times a day while she was on (a warm climate) vacation. I was smart enough not to wear it into any convenience stores, though; I suspect that most store owners here on Long Island are armed.) .

Tore at the opening, feels cheap. Can't run in it due to moisture soaking and freezing in it...
