My staircase doesn't lend itself to the type of gate that needs to be braced between two points like a doorway, so I got this gate. It's brilliant. It's in three sections and the hinges go both ways, so it can be fitted anywhere. It's very good quality and a nice design with little doggie bone cut outs being a nice touch.I've got a border terrier puppy and it's been fine for her; however now she's growing up (7 months), she's learnt to open it, so I need to tie it closed when I'm out. When I looked after a friend's rather large Labrador, he managed to jump over it (coming down the stairs). How he did it I don't know, but he did! So probably best for smaller dogs.

Very sturdy and well made dog gate. I originally looked at room dividers for the purpose of closing off areas of the home when guests are staying from a highly inquisitive labrador but the dog gate was a much better buy for the specific purpose. The bone shaped holes along the top are great for moving the gate and a cute finishing touch and the price was good value compared to a flimsy room divider. Very happy with my purchase and would happily recommend.

I bought this to a replace a much cheaper similar product I'd bought earlier. The cheaper one broke almost every time I had to move it and I glued it back together many times until I eventually gave up on it and threw it out. This one is much more robust & definitely worth the extra money. It's also heavier - which is a good thing because my puppy used to knock the other one over in his excitement.

Please could you advise , not had this gate for long and it is a lovely gate,however two of the hinges have popped out and will not stay in, would it be possible to send two replacement hinges to change ourselves .

I was so worried buying this gate as I got a 11 week old chihuahua and believed she would get through the gap but so very happy it isn't wiide enough for her get through.. Its so much heavier then I thought as well but that's a good thing as it can't be moved or pushed over by pup

This is a great buy. We use it instead of a baby gate for our dog that tries to get upstairs. It’s very versatile and can be used room to room and in different variations. We love it. Excellent quality and matches our decor. Arrived on time.

Good wood quality and finished in a lovely white paint. Looks really good at bottom of the stairs. Have angled it so can use one end as a swing door. Luckily our labrador, who can easily knock it over just stops knowing he is not allowed beyond the gate!!

Absolutely love this gate. You can move it anywhere and not once has it fell down and having a new puppy in the house it has been a godsend
