Surprising very good quality ,was purchased as Christmas present for my 90 year old Mum .The proof of pudding was on New year's Day it was being used as my mum does feel the cold now a little so it did do what it was purchased.forQuality is that on side is the pattern side which is as illustrated,underside has a quilted fleese type white textured heavy layer so it's ideal to put on a bed as extra layer . This is what happens Christmas day but on 1st January it was put over mum on arm chair in sitting room and it's very warm here . Yes for a child etc it would make great gift to keep he or she nice and cosy. .Don't hesitate buy this item for a loved one you will not regret this purchaseA contender for 6 Stars ?

I bought this for my daughter - she is a wheelchair user and gets very cold, both indoors and outdoors, and she loves a blanket to snuggle under.It looks really lovely and she tells me it's the nicest blanket she's ever had, really lovely and snuggly, keeping her nice and warm but not making her feel too hot.She has used it practically all day every day since she had it at Christmas, as a bed cover or wrapped around her when she's in her chair and she tells me every day how much she loves it, so thank you for a great product.P.S. If you buy it, don't be surprised by the size of the box it arrives in - the blanket is vacuum packed and soon puffs up to full size when you open it!

Bought this for the Wife, she hasn't stopped using it..Well worth the Money, quite Heavy and Luxurious, would make a Good throw for the back of the Sofa.. Going to buy a Couple more before the end of the Year.. Nice Xmas present for older Family Members..

This is really nice and very cosy but on opening the package it really stank of cigarette smoke which put a damper on the whole throw. Sprayed it with febreeze which helped slightly... Hopefully it'll wear off soon.

After reading the other reviews I was a bit disappointed on opening. It was faded in parts and on turning it over it looked as though somebody had trodden on one corner and left a dirty mark. This area was also covered in bits of coloured materials. Wished I ‘d thought to take a photo ! Having said that it’s lovely soft and warm and is useful for an extra covering for a single bed on cold nights. Glad I hadn’t ordered it for a throw for a sofa..........it would have to have been returned.

Put it over myself when watching tv or on laptop and its really snuggly. I can turn the heating down when I use it when im on my own in the house.
