This has been the best, most amazing gift that my daughter has ever received. She is 5, and watches me journal daily, and earned her own journal. She loves reading the questions, and putting in her own personal data. Also, she loves the pen that makes a horse noise AND lights up. We tied a bow around the key so it wouldn't get lost! My babe loves this little first journal of hers! You're kindergarten aged daughter will likely enjoy it too!

I bought this locked journal for my daughter's 6th birthday. She'd been asking for one, and they are surprisingly hard to find. The journal is nice, the first few pages you fill out information about yourself which I think will be cute to look back on when she's older. The pen is cute and lights up and makes noise. The downfall is that it only comes with 1 key instead of 2, so once the key is lost, which is inevitable, there's no back up. It's a product for kids, who lose small things, 2 keys should be standard!

Package was an item recommended as a gift to a child. The item arrived quickly and looks great, I know my future stepdaughter will like it. Seller reached out to see if item came on time and was as expected. I appreciated that personal touch from them. I now gave this gift and she loved it. She loved the unicorn pen, that she could lock her secret diary, and that it had such pretty colors and pictures 🙂

Too cute! Perfect for my pre teen niece for Christmas! I'm encouraging her to journal and fostering some self awareness without being too serious about it.

Perfect first diary because beginning pages lead writer through some questions about herself. Then there are blank pages for traditional diary entries. The lock was cute and worked. The unicorn pen was a huge hit. Only downside is if you are looking for a really sturdy, "heirloom" diary that will stand the test of many years. I don't think this one will do it ... but I think it will be enjoyed for the time it lasts.

The lock easily breaks but we were able to fix it so daughter is very happy... the paper is of good quality and daughter loved the fact that there is a space for drawing and separate lines for notes
