HHT OEM Quadrafire, Heatilator & Heat N Glo Wall Switch (HTI-12-007) - Original OEM Part

Arrived intact (although it was only wrapped in plastic and inside a padded envelope), was very easy to install, and worked perfectly. The true test will be how long it lasts--the original switch had a cheap conductive material on the back of the buttons which wore off in about 5 years; hopefully this one will fare better.As for value for money, it was quite expensive for a light-weight, simple electric switch; unfortunately it was the exact switch needed, nothing else would do.

This control was the match for the one that failed. It worked perfectly, arrived very promptly, and it's now controlling our fireplace. No problems. Recommend it!

Like. This part was easy to install by a nonprofessional, and my fireplace now works again. The wall switch on these direct vent fireplaces apparently becomes non-functional after several years. This was an amazing deal for a fireplace that will now work.

Had a fireplace tech out to inspect a Heat and Glo unit that wouldn’t turn on. He told me the wall control unit was broken and said he wasn’t sure they could source a new one. I found the exact match here and installed myself. It is 3 wires; super easy. Worked like a charm!

This switch failed after only about a year and a half. This was my third purchase. I even bought the Caikote 44 on Amazon to increase the conductivity, but that didn't work either. So, I'm a little bit out solutions. All I need for my fireplace is to turn it on, turn down the fire to the next level and then off. That's all I need and this switch has functions I never use.

Needed this as a straight swap/replacement for my existing switch. Was a very simple process to replace it and it works great. My previous switch had gone bad and my fireplace was turning on by itself randomly. The new switch resolved the issue.

update: seller is kindly sending us a replacement even tho I am 2 weeks over the 1 year warranty, they were easy to deal with.This is our 5th unit in 10 years, (might not all be from this seller.) They usually last 3.5 years, but these last 2 only lasted 1 year.

As with other reviews, our fireplace (in the house we just moved into) worked fine with the thermostat control but not with the 'turn on flame' button. So it was simple to drop in this exact replacement in the place of the original control unit. Just three low voltage wires, well labeled 'red', 'yellow', 'green', had to be disconnected from the old unit and connected to the new and, in five minutes total, everything now works perfectly.I gave it four stars instead of five because, as per other reviews, it came in just a plastic bag with no box, no installation or operating instructions, etc. and it's pretty pricey for what it is and does. The unit is semi-intuitive so I think I've figured it out but I still don't know what, if anything, the 'snowflake' button does on my fireplace. I gave it four stars instead of three because: 1) even if pricey, I knew what it cost going in, 2) the installation was very intuitive and simple, and 3) it did work as advertised once installed.
