Excellent fit for Philips Hue hub
I bought this specifically to pair with a Philips Hue hub. Paired on first try and worked perfectly with a string of BTF 5050SMD RGBWWs. You can tell if you got it in pairing mode, the LED strip will pulse until it's paired. To power it I used a 24v/6.25A (~150W) power supply. The strip I used uses a max of 150W, which can potentially be an issue if you drive all 5 color channels. One caveat that's Hue specific: Hue WILL NOT let you add effects to a third party controller. So long as you know that, you're good to go.

Best Phillips Hue Compatible Strip with Warm White
This company has taken great care of me! I was working on a big project to light my deck handrailing and needed one replacement controller and they were very fast and responsive for me! I also love the wifi controller that comes with this strip because it connects automatically to my existing Philips Hue bridge! Definitely excited to buy more for my garage project!

Very poor quality alternative to the Philips Hue light strip
This is WAY overpriced for what you get. You might be happy with this if you are just interested in saturated colors. This can do that, but if you are trying to match any other lighting, or mix specific colors, or anything resembling white, whether warm or cool, look elsewhere. Yes it can be used with the Philips system, but not very well. This is a VERY inferior product and not so much cheaper that it is worth the savings:1. The adhesive backing is a joke. It adheres to the blue covering, not to the back of the light strip.2. Maybe because the light strip material is tacky and feels like it wasn't properly mixed in the manufacturing process. Dust sticks to it.3. The colors are very rough.. Trying to get the same color as the other lights in your system is impossible. The Hue system allows you to gang lights together in the app in order for them to produce the same colors, and this doesn't work with this light strip. The colors are way off, and trying to match them is an exercise in futility. Even the extension doesn't match the original strip it's plugged into.Very disappointed. I'm ordering the Philips version. I'll try to find another use for this strip.Update: I've installed this in another room without any other color lights, and am able to get a preset that isn't too offensive for general use. The other lights in the room are all quartz halogen, which has a very even tone and pleasing warmth as it dims. Trying to match these to that warmth produces at best an ugly greenish red instead of yellow, and it only works as more of an exaggerated orange or red complement when set at a relatively low level.

Connects up well with Home Assistant
Got this working in just under a minute with Home Assistant and Z2MQTT. Overall it puts out very nice light. The reds are slightly stronger than the blue and green, at least to my perception. This will make great accent lighting and the FCOB helps with dispersion and point definition. You will still see the pixels when looked at directly but will wash nicely in a reflective use.Bear in mind this is all a single color at a time and not addressable, so it won’t do rainbow affects or multiple colors simultaneously.

Nice when they work
The led strips are nice but unfortunately one of the two that were delivered does not work properly, the colors seem to invert based on the color provided. Don’t see any way to reach out to the seller besides leaving a review

Makes sure you get 2.0 Firmware
Not sure if this is the seller's fault or the supplier of the product...but the bottom line is they are apparently still selling this controller with older (broken) firmware. I ordered the product once (RGBCCT controller)...and then re-ordered the same product from the same supplier within a couple days. One of the products has firmware version 1.0.8. The other has version 2.0.0. I'm very satisfied with the 2.0.0 firmware (nice color transitions and fade duration.) The one with version 1.0.8 firmware has very abrupt transitions and also does not dim lower than maybe 30%. So at this point I have to return the controller with the old firmware...and then order another one and "hope" it comes with the modern 2.0 software version.Because of the hassle I can only give this 3 stars. Otherwise the RGBCCT controller with 2.0 firmware is working exactly as I would expect. Pairs with my Hue Hub no problem, and the white color temperature and RGB color is controlled just like any of my other Hue lights. If you purchase this controller, make sure you get the 2.0 firmware. You can see the firmware version in the Hue app when you look at the "light" (controller) information.
