Florence de Dampierre 16 Load, Organic and All Natural Wool & Cashmere Laundry Detergent, 8 oz. - Cedar Scent

I handwash all of my cashmere and like trying new products. The problem I have with the product is that it doesn't foam at all, and description says the formula is thick. My bottle had the consistency of water. While it smells lovely, and I didn't use it on any stains, I really don't see it as an effective washing solution; more like perfumed water. I suppose it's possible i got a defective lot, but it's a little too pricey to buy again, hoping bottle #2 is as described.

Excellent product. I washed my Sherpa Mongolian Sheep Skin that I use for regular daily Meditation. It worked amazingly well. I hand washed it and then rinse spin cycle in the washing machine after. Then, air dryed the Sherpa in front of the heater. I brushed the Sherpa with a good grooming brush, and it turned out very soft, silky and clean. The scent of the product is very light, and yet Aromtherapeutic in nature. I will definitely purchase this product again in the future.

This smells sooo good but it left weird stains on my clothes. I did 5 different loads of laundry and they all stained a strange pink-ish burgundy hue. I don’t know what that is but I’ve stopped using it. It’s sad because i love this line.

Great smell.

It washed my cashmere and wool items beautifully. But I'm disappointed that the scent is so faint. My items are clean and smell clean in the sense that they don't smell dirty. I would have liked a bit more fragrance so the items smelled refreshed. But I can't complain about how soft my items turned out and looking great. I was nervous about one very delicate cashmere wrap I have that is extremely fragile. I swear cleaning it made it stronger, so I would definitely buy this again!

I hated having to pay for drycleaning wool sweaters due to both the price and the awful chemical odor. I decided to try this product because the price was right and it was worth giving home washing a try. I was very pleased with the results of using a laundry bag in my washer on the washable wool setting using this detergent. Once the flat dry process was done, the wool was very clean and had a nice herbal scent. The scent was there for sure but not overwhelming. I'm looking forward to laundering my sweaters more often now that I have both a detergent I like and a method that works.
