SvagoZGR Newton - The Ultimate Leather Zero Gravity Recliner (Coffee)

I have owned my Svago Newton for almost a year and it is my main chair in the LR. I use the massage function nightly in the ZGR position and it is incredibly relaxing. My previous chair (I have owned three over the years) was a Human Touch with the rollers and in most massage modes, and let me tell you there were far too many, the massage was painful around the spine. I have heard this complaint from others. The Svago is a 'gentle' massage with air bladders and my only complaint is that I wish there were a few more. It has four, one of which is only used to move the headrest, and the other three are across the back and down to the lumbar area. They really need some at the seat and thigh positions--then it would be spectacular instead of just great.The controls are quite workable and the heat function is just great in the winter. I have never needed it for muscle soreness, but it does get very warm very quickly. The chair also has a pair of touch pads just under the armrests that allow you to recline or raise it quickly without grabbing the control pendant--this is a super nice feature, but I wish the pads were a bit higher in placement from where they are as they get blocked by your thigh.This chair costs significantly less than the Human Touch Gravis and is twice the chair in terms of comfort, features and styling.

The head rest is very uncomfortable. The lower back lumbar region extends out so far as to be very uncomfortable. The chair is too expensive compared to the Relax the Back brand store chairs. Sleep Galleria does not offer a trial period for a refund. Enough said. Joel Planer
