Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This screen has surprised me. I bought it as a temporary fix until I could afford a pull down/retractable screen (or DIY one) for our sliding patio door. I thought it might look a little hokey but it really does not.My original intent was to take the screen down each night as I’m not a fan of looking out my windows through screens, but honestly, during this Fall season, I think it will just stay up. It is no where near as dark as I thought it would be... and the dog is loving it.I gave it 4 stars not because of the screen itself (this thing is solid. I’m impressed), but because the fastener tape that adheres to the frame of the door is black. Most folks have some form of White or light colored trims and the Black color will stick out like a sore thumb when the screen is removed. I ended up purchasing White fastener tape separately and applied that instead. It was an extra $11 here on Amazon, but it was worth it. That is the side of fastener tape, that everything sticks too. I’m anticipating having to attempt to clean off dog hair, dirt, sawdust, tile dust, etc., regularly (we’re remodeling) seeing as it’s outside. I wish the Hook & Loop sides of the tape had been reversed.Overall, I do recommend this screen. It is not expensive and seems to be solid. I might buy another for our front door. A cross breeze would be nice.— Michelle

Let's be honest, nobody is expected these magnetic screen doors to be "nice," but 97% of them are absolute junk. I've owned about a half dozen of these types of doors, and this one is by far the best. Here's a quick comparison:Other brands: screen is poor quality and ripsThis door: screen is by far the best quality I've seen. Thick and durable while still being able to see throughOther brands: magnets are either poorly spaced or break off the door, causing the door to stay openThis door: magnets are sewn into the door and along the entire length so they actually stay put and provide a pretty good "seal." No issuesOther brands: adhesive that holds the velcro strips to the door frame and door melts in the sun, causing the door to fall down and essentially become unusable.This door: After so many failed doors due to melting adhesive, I now hold these doors up with binder clips and command strips (looks sketchy, but it works), so I can't attest to the quality of the velcro with this product.

We travel abroad 6 months of the year, usually to a new destination. Every year there is a nice breeze and a cheap dollar store scree has worked. This year we lived in Aruba and the WIND is AWESOME some days! wowee.... So we trashed our dollar store screen in about a month and went looking online for a new, better screen. It's not that this one is SOOO much higher in price, at all...but when you are used to getting the job done for $2 or 3 dollars and then consider paying 4 times as much, it's the worry that you are paying much mroe money for the same low quality item, right? Not in this case! This price is great great great!! And we would buy this again in a heartbeat. The quality of the mesh and the magnets and the sticky velcro to mount it are all so much better that we have wondered why we ever cheaped out with dollar store screens before! DO NOT HESITATE to buy this item, you will love it as much as we do. It has stood up to incredible winds, and gusts that break small trees around where we are. It is still super solid after a week straight of this windy weather. You will love it.

I've had purchase other item like this before, but not like this one. The others were cheap material. You get what you pay for, and I certainly got the best now. For a few extra dollars I got quality and absolute easy installation (it took all of 5 mins.)This for my back yard guest room, I didn't measure my door before I purchase , so it is a little big, but no problem , just over the door frame, still work prefect.I'm proud of myself for this purchase, I'm telling everyone about it!!!

I’ve bought similar screens before, but had to keep replacing them because they rip so easily. This is the first one I’ve had that is actually durable. The mesh is a much heavier grade than I expected and the frame is weighted so it won’t blow up on a windy day, but at the same time, easily accessible for my small dog to be able to access on his own.

I have purchased multiple screen doors in the past, and they all broke easily because I have two dogs who scratch the door when they want to come inside. But this one is different! The material is heavy duty fiberglass, so even if my dogs scratch the door, it won't break easily. The installation was super easy, and the magnetic strips are strong enough to keep the screen door close but easy enough for my dogs to go out without any trouble. Highly recommended.

I wish I would have ordered this sooner! This works fantastic, at keeping bugs out. We installed this in under 10 minutes. The magnetic closure works great. We have 2 dogs, and within 24 hours, they learned how to manuveur through this. I love the heavy duty screen material, the weighted hem, and how the closure snaps back into place on it's own. This is one of my best purchases of 2019.

This is a great improvement over others I have purchased. But only had it up since Feb and I just noticed a line of the mesh coming apart at head level so I know the dogs didn’t case it. Had high hopes as the screen material is a lot thicker.
