Markers for Eggs
I purchased these so I could write the date on my fresh chicken egg. They work great. Haven’t had any issues with them bleeding through or wiping off.

Color reactivated when pealing a decorated orange
Bought these to make pumpkins out of oranges for my son to bring to school as a Halloween treats. The makers seamed perfect. It was easy to make a practice face on the orange, it wasn't until I peeled it that I found the issue. The decorations that I put on the orange stained my hands as I peeled it. The juice of the oranges must have reactivated the ink. While this product didn't work fo my needs, I do think that it has tons of potential. I want to point out that they have outstanding customer service. They contacted me immediately after I complained and offered a solution.

Good black edible marker
This is my first experience with edible pens. These were great for making Spider-Man fondant cupcake toppers and drawing on the webs. The thick side writes more smoothly than the thin side. I found myself retracing lines more with the thin side to get the same darkness with a thinner line. But overall they are easy to hold, seem to last for many decorations, the color is a true black, and the 3-pack feels like a good value, it’s nice having spares on hand. Overall I think I would order these again.

Review
Ok, so I buy these to write on my arm when I go out. I have a traumatic brain injury from my service. I forget things easy. These are safe, unlike a permanent marker. I've been using these for years and I love them.

Dried up too quickly
I bought the set with 3 black markers, each with 2 tips. I wanted to fill in the black eyes and smiles on 48 ghost shortbread cookies (not iced). The first few went on smoothly bit then seemed to dry up. I tried the other tip and ended up using all 3 pens, both tips in order to barely finish these cookies. I can't believe that is how it should work. Maybe mine were dried up even though I just opened the plastic pouch with the markers right before I used them. I was shocked because of all the positive reviews. Also wondered if I was supposed to do something differe t to make them work the first time. Can't find how to contact the seller. So disappointed and as a cookie baker, I would have loved to love this product. Wanted to use them on my jack o lantern cookies as well but they were useless after I barely finished the ghosts.

Doesn't affect flavor, is GREAT when running food experiments
When I make sandwiches or burritos or other things that look the same, but have slightly different ingredients, I use these pens to mark them. Maybe an S for the one that has sausage, G for the one with galbi sauce, etc. Or maybe I'll draw an angry crab on a fake crab meat quesadilla. Either way, if you genuinely want to get better at cooking, you need to be able to tell your experiments apart from one another. And this pen will give that ability to you.
