STAS Perlon Cord with Cobra - 4x 98’’ cord - Picture Hanging System - Photo Rail System - Hanging Cord - For Multiple STAS Rails

I purchased the STAS system about a month ago and just got around to putting it up. It lived up to all my expectations. The only problem (not really a problem) was to “Cli ck” it in place took a little more oomph than expected. A sharp hit with my hand and it clicked into place. Some folks complain on other sites that the pictures tend to twist to one side or the other. I made sure that the clip was hanging straight before hanging the pictures on the hanger. There is some torque in the line and if you have the clip hanging straight this will not be an issue. This system works best with saw tooth hangers at the top. With a wire the pictures may tilt away from the wall a bit depending on how high up the wire is on the back of your frame. This also was not a problem for me as a slight angle at the top of the picture (away from the wall) helped to cut down on reflections on the glass. I had not realized that the Smartspring hooks did not come with the additional Cobra line that I ordered. I also had an issue with a missing part. STAS shipped me a replacement part AND the Springhooks at no additional shipping charge. For this reason I would order the system directly from STAS as other vendors might not be so forthcoming. A big shout out to Elizabeth Robison with Customer Service ; she was amazing. If I could rate them a “10” out of 10 I would. Am already considering another one for another room.

This seller was very prompt, friendly, and helpful with a minor order issue. The package arrived ahead of the estimated time. I like these cords better than the ones that shipped with my STAS system. The ones with the STAS system weren't quite as clear as these. These are crystal clear and disappear against a wall much better. Great quality.

Plastic string curls unless you have something on the very bottom. I have had a clip on the bottom of the strings for months and they still curl to the sides. Spend the extra and get the metal strings. The overall system is 5 star, these plastic cords are only (a generous) two stars.

We love the hanging system! It gives our art a more professional and cohesive look. We like experimenting with different lengths of cord.

Works: does what it’s supposed to do without slipageLike: it is less visible than cableDislike: curls. Need weight to straighten.

Great cord. Practically invisible on the wall. Seems durable for light to mid-weight items.

Exactly as shown and described. Recommend coiling up any excess cord and tie with a wire tie for future use. It looks much better not having the excess cord hanging below the hanged display. Fantastic supplier and speedy delivery.

Easy to use with STAS rail; very unobtrusive; strong; basically fantastic!
