Car, Car, Truck, Jeep (New Nursery Rhymes)

UPDATE: 5 months later and I still enjoy reading this book daily! My toddler always sits still to listen and it isn't obnoxious! Love this book! ORIGINAL REVIEW: We originally grabbed this book at the library for my almost 2yo and it was an overnight hit. This is the only book I NEVER get sick of reading, maybe because it's set to such a cute tune. I agree with others that the illustrations are adorable and colorful. My only complaint is that on the page with the hovercraft. First off, it doesn't flow well like the other pages: "Arriving at the harbor by the seaside, hop on a hovercraft such a bumpy ride." And second, hovercrafts are notoriously very *smooth* rides, so we replace the word "bumpy" with "awesome." Besides those tiny, fairly meaningless critiques, this book is one I'm always happy to drop what I'm doing and read. After our library loan expired, we immediately overnighted this book so we weren't without it for a single day. We were thrilled to see there's a new book coming out this April! PLEASE make many more that are set to tunes. They are delightful! I'll be buying these for new moms. Thanks!

My toddler loves this book.

This book has been read countless times to my grandchildren. It is very engaging. Lots of opportunities to expand vocabulary. Illustrations give many things to look at. We love this book.

My daughter just.texted me the following message regarding this book that I bought for my grandson for Christmas: “We just opened the book (the car car truck jeep) since somehow we forgot to open it at Christmas. (Baby age 21 months) is obsessed with it. We’ve read it 15 times today.”

My 2 year old loves all cars and moving vehicles, and I pounced on this book! He gets the HUGEST kick when I start to sing him the book to "ba ba black sheep" and loves pointing at the tractor every few pages. When I need to get him on some "quiet time" I whip this book out and we read it again and again! Great simple drawings that are fun and kid inspired!

Purchased as a gift for my 2yr old nephew; he's obsessed with trucks! I was so excited that this book is so Cute, that I've made my first video review. (Using 1 hand, please be kind to my lack of skill) I love all the different vehicles it shows, and the characters' faces are so happy, the bright colors make it an adorable little book.

This is a precious book; the pictures are SO colorful and eye-catching, the rhyming clever and funny, and I love that it can be sung to the familiar “Baa ,Baa Black Sheep” tune or simply just read. It’s great to see females as jumbo jet pilots and drivers of diggers and semi trucks. My 2.5 yr old granddaughter even noticed that on her own! She loves this book and “reads” it repeatedly to her 2 month old sister. The only reason I rated it a 4 -star rather than a 5 is because the book arrived in somewhat bent condition.

My toddler’s favorite book. We read this every day. Well worth the price.

Our toddler loves this book as his bedtime book. It is part of his bedtime routine as a song and a book to look at. He loves it!
