I Am She-Ra! (She-Ra) (Little Golden Book) Hardcover – Picture Book, July 2, 2019

(Side note, I bought this for myself, not for a child. I collect 80s cartoon-related stuff.)Unlike "I Am He-Man!", this book had a story to tell. (He-Man basically copy/pasted the series theme dialogue and then briefly introduced the main characters.) It follows the pilot of the original cartoon series to tell how Adora became She-Ra. The artwork is gorgeous and it was nostalgic to revisit some of my favorite cartoon characters from the 1980s.

I grew up with He-man and She-ra. I loved both. It has been so nice to have new material for me to bring these great characters to my daughtes.

Its a good story and very true to the origin from the cartoon. Highly recommend it for kids to be introduced to the original She-Ra and for those old fans from the 80's when the show was originally on.

For fans of the original She-Ra or the new, this is the perfect introduction to the vintage cartoon and the inner-child in me just about lost his cool getting it in my grasp! The fantastic art complements the perfect distillation of the She-Ra mythos for old fans and new!

My kids have been watching the classic She-Ra cartoons, and this was the perfect purchase to tie-in watching the show. Glad to see She-Ra is coming back! Love the art and colors.

My daughter loved it and immediately said it's her new "other favorite" along with the authors Captain Marvel book. If you loved this one, you should buy that one as well!

Bought of my daughter, the artwork is AMAZINGLY beautiful. Good overall view of the the story of She-ra from the original 1980s cartoon.

This book is a fun little golden book for my tiny She-ra fans. It is based off the older cartoon, and therefore included He-man, but my kids haven’t displayed any reservations about the differences even though their main point of reference is the most recent (and FANTASTIC) animated series which is available on Netflix. I really like the drawing style in this book, it is very aesthetically pleasing and has lovely colors.

Obsessed with this brand of books for my 3yr old son and 7yr old daughter. Not only are the prices amazing, but the stories are good too and the illustrations are great too. They also do a wide range of themes such as Marvel, Disney, etc. We personally love them and have a huge collection.
