32x16 Steel Access Door

Don’t know why it had some negative reviews. It seems to be well constructed and was packaged well. It isn’t painted like the picture. It is galvanized. It can be locked.

It's galvanized steel in the white (which isn't a problem, other reviewers noted this as well so I knew about it when I ordered it). I bought this to replace the old one covering my crawlspace entrance. I little metal working was required to get to fit into the opening I had, it was a tight fit (good!) and functions as expected. Overall, I'd recommend it. Just take note of the actual size of the frame itself as others have noted in the reviews. Measure twice, cut once.

Quick shipping. Right size. Poor packaging. 2nd time ordering an access door from this company. Poor packaging first time also but first item not damaged. 2nd door dented and scratched and frame bent but usable. It looks as if it had been returned by someone else then resent to us without company inspecting it or repackaging it securely, based on tape on box exterior and also tape, stains, dirt and scratches and dents on door and frame. Cleaned door. Goo gone to remove tape so it can be painted. No help for dents. I think the product is a good product, but lack of attention in shipping(or inspection of returns) leads to damage.

Measurements were not as specified. Useless because it don’t fit. It was pictured in black and arrived galvanized. Don’t order.

Product was well made but the dimensions stated were not correct off by 3/4” one way and .5” the other way. I ended up having to purchase another door from another source. Very disappointed it didn’t meet the size stated.

The product came slightly damaged but I just bent it back and hammered it flat, install went well, and door works very well.

Need to deburr the finished part.

Piece of junk......was so poorly built it could not be rebuilt into something usable. The company was very willing to help me out with a refund, but the product is not worth the time.
