Nice, but with limitations - for X-5xx MultiTerrain mowers
FIRST ME : I'm in East Tennessee and isn't a football field or golf course.I drive a John Deere X-540 Multi-Terrain mower because I need it.I cut around 2 acres full of beds and trees walks, slopes, and a creek.We have dogwood, redbud, magnolia, pine, and fir trying to wreck this cover.GOOD : It is cute, the mesh is nice, it stays attachedISSUES : Old totally inflexible frame design - steel with a vinyl cover. Snag anything and it will bend or break.Longitudinal bumps bounce the canopy on my head and lateral bumps bounce the frame against my temples.Cross-slope cutting is painful. No pivots, no shear points, no adjustments - I expect metal fatigue to cripple it.It didn't have to waste the cargo mounts. Difficult and potentially damaging to remove; wax or grease helps.
