Meat Thermometer, CyanCloud Instant Read Food Thermometer Digital Cooking Thermometer for Oven, Kitchen, Grilling, Smoker with Timer Alert

Followed the directions as I needed an alert at 120 degrees. I had ordered two of these and they act the same. Went and got new batteries and did not make any difference. once it went into the programming mode and could only adjust up not down. The two units acted the same. The standard temp and adjustments worked just the programming mode in this product does not work

the design and operation was really easy BUT what i didn't like was that you could not set a specific temp, there were only presets for various meats. i bought this to use for making yogurt which requires a max temp of 180 and minimum of 115 and i could not reach either of those temps with this thermometer so the alert function was not useful, i just had to use it as a regular thermometer and set an alarm to check it periodically

There were no instructions included, but after much button pushing, I had it figured out. I will was not pleased because basically you select what animal you're cooking and it decides what temperature you have to achieve for WELL DONE. T here is no way to change the target temp. Not happy at all. 😦

I like the fact that it has a magnet, so I keep it on my refrigerator, instead of having to scramble in a drawer for it. I like the food temps that are on the back. I used it to test for done when cooking meat.

This Digital Thermometer is awesome. For the price, I can't say enough positive things about it.This Thermometer does EXACTLY what it needs to do and is incredibly robust while still being accurate.

No matter how far you put the probe in it still heats up too quick before the meats done

Used it less than 10 times and it's already broken. The unit turns on but the probe no longer reads the meat temp, it only displays high or low (HHH - LLL). When it was working, it worked well. I would return it but it's past the return date.
