We don't recommend it for other purpose such as assembling a chainsaw Warranty for saw kits: 10 days against the defective parts after you receive it. Manly jigsaw-puzzle
Definitely requires knowledge about chainsaws to assemble this one but a fun project my only complaint had to swap out the trigger assembly for OEM for safety reasons ( would get stuck at Full Throttle)

Impressive kit
I just spent a few hours assembling this into a complete saw. Not sure I'd want to try to make a living with it but for a weekend warrior thing around my place I think it will be a great saw. Fit and finish on some of the plastic parts needed a bit of trimming. There are no instructions with this kit as it is sold as a "Parts kit" so you better know a thing or 2 about chainsaws. I downloaded a free parts manual from Husqvarna's web site and that helped a lot. I recommend cleaning the cylinder with hot soap and water before assembly to avoid cylinder scoring from honing dust left over from manufacturing and using Opti 1 as assembly lube. All in all a really fun project.

Can’t beat the price for what it is!
Quality is better than you’d expect. I ran the saw for the first time yesterday and cut approximately 1/2 cord of maple with it. It requires some carburetor adjustment but now it’s running excellent. I’ll be curious to see how she holds up.
