1st I'm not a review kind of person. If I really like something it'll get stars and that is about it.....Unfortunately I did not see the reviews about the HVAC blower staying on after vehicle is shut off! It is definitely this product that is faulty like others have said. I unplugged the fan from this motor resistor and it shuts off like it should with the car off, plug it back in and it runs while the car is off and key is out. Thankfully my local O'reilly had the part in stock. It even looks cheap. It's light in weight and the metal looks like chrome paint!

After installation it seems to function. The only thing that was off was the connection point to the blower motor. They eventually fit but seemed to be snug and not the same fit as the original. Other than that, seems to be fine.

Installed easily and worked just like an OEM product. The price point was well worth it compared to going to the dealership. I have an 07 Cadillac Escalade and I am now back in service of having my blower working again in about 30 min.

Worked for a little while when I first changed it. After a few days my blower motor started to work sporadically again. I went to purchase a new blower motor and guy at auto parts store suggested trying another resistor first. I bought a different brand and my motor seems to work now. Not sure if I just got a bad unit.

I bought this to replace the existing one in my truck that had gone bad. I'm no mechanic, but figured how hard could it be plug and play like youtube videos say. Removed the old one that was really bad condition. I plugged the two plugs into the new one matching the same ports as the old one. I went to test to see if it worked before I screwed it back in. Turned the truck on and it took a few second for the blower to start blowing, once it did I toggled through all the modes and started smelling electrical and burning plastic. Fearing an electrical fire I quickly turned the ignition off however the blower was still running which it never does when I turn the ignition off. I noticed that the resistor itself was smoking and I quickly unpluged the wires out of it. I don't know if it was in installation error, or just a lemon, but I will probably return it and maybe try another one.Will change my review if I get a different and better one.

Well after several videos I was under the assumption that this was my ac problem but it was just the fan which I ordered from here as well and is work great.

Had difficulty finding module with the right number of pins (3 small, 2 large) + 2 large. Even the local dealer did not list such a product. Took a chance based on the picture and to my delight it was right. Five minute installation and my neighbor's HVAC fan is online. Thank you

2009 GMC sierra 2500hd , remove glove box remove 2 plugs and 2 20mm hex screws slide out place new one in repeat steps in reverse to install .

I don’t know why we waited so long to buy this replacement part. It took minutes to remove the old and install the new. It has been working great.

Well made, perfect fit, but the fan itself was the broken part. Im leaving replacement installed anyway and keeping older part. Heatsink design on this one seems more efficient at disapating heat. More and thinner aluminum fins.
