Going on 4 years of use! Super durable, straps are amazingly adjustable for a good fit, and the multiple leash points make it super versatile! We've used it for everything from bikejoring, to service dog training, to tactical roleplay, sailing, motorcycling and even dog parkour stuff. Make sure you leave extra room in the straps for your dog to change sizes if he sheds in the summer! He loves wearing it, it's super ergonomic, and the metal clips work great. The plastic clips still leave something to desire, but for the price and how long it lasts, it's a reasonable purchase. He actually sits still for me when I pull the vest out, which is counterintuitive for a husky (if you know, you know). Love it!

This harness is awesome. Our old harness wore the hair off under her arms. This fits so well and it stopped her from pulling hard during walks. I can’t wait to put stuff on it when we hike. The only issue I have is that it will be hard to use it for daily walks because you have to take 4 of the 6 quick release tabs to get the dog harnessed up. But when this harness is on, there is no way the dog is coming out of it. My dog is 47 lbs and I ordered the large. It fits very good

Color is true, shipped on time.I love this vest, the handle on the top is convenient. The buckles and material are durable.I only wish the seller would sell extra material for the straps. I got this for my dog who was 8months at the time and the straps were so long I cut them. Fortunately for me he had a growth spurt, so the front strap doesn’t fit his chest. I have only been using the back strap and still holds well. Just looks a little funny :).

Expensive, but worth it...well constructed, heavy duty attachment rings (top and front), 2 aluminum buckles at the front where needed to prevent a pulling escape attempt, 4 plastic buckles under the body. Easy adjustments and secure fitting. I adhered to the measurement chart and was able to choose mediums, whereas my previous harnesses (not icefang brand) were large and were ill fitting. Did I mention...5 star!

This one may be too high quality? I was shocked when I took this out of the packaging when confronted with the sheer weight of this thing. My dog is somewhere between 15-20 lbs, but she’s a fairly stocky lady. However, I could tell immediately that this would not work for her. The harness must be like 20% of her body weight. Still, I was curious and determined, so we tried it on her. It made for some giggles on my end, but she definitely wasn’t happy. Sure it was weighty, but it was also unexpectedly massive. From the size chart, the small seemed like it would fit her, but even tightening everything down as much as I possibly could, it was never going to work.Now, if you have a hearty pup with some muscles to carry this thing around, then it’s great. I absolutely love the handle, and can see where the fit actually could be perfect for a lot of dogs. The clasps are top notch - super high quality metal ones that will last a lifetime, and are much easier to use than the typical cheap plastic ones. I especially love the addition of the clasps around the neck straps. Not many harnesses have this feature, but it makes a difference for my dog because she hates threading her head through the head hole in other harnesses. The Velcro on the sides is great and allows you to add other accessories as you please - maybe a pouch for adventures, or a patch for fun.For how many awesome features this packs, I wish it had worked out for me. I’m jealous of the other pups and their owners that get to enjoy this. It’s a little pricey, but once you feel it, you understand what you’ve paid for - a high quality, well-made harness that will likely last you a lifetime (unless your dog has a taste for Velcro).

Both my dogs wear this harness in comfort. It's easy to put on and remove. The straps are durable. My dogs are secured with the tensioning straps. This vest also is very protective of your dogs torso. The vest has Velcro and slots for securing additional items to vest. Example; Pouches.

Coyote attacks are becoming bolder and more common where I live. They come in from East County to kill our cats and small dogs. Tho most of the time we only see 1 at a time, it's common for them to hunt in pairs. 1 draws the attention of the prey by acting like it wants to play and the 2nd lies in ambush. The ambush coyote attacks from the rear biting the legs of the prey so the prey will roll over on its back. 1 coyote will crush the throat and the other tears out the victims stomach. Coyotes have stalked and injured small children, Rottweilers, adult German Shepherds and other large dogs. You can watch videos of them trying to lure large dogs on YouTube. You'll be surprised at how bold and clever they are. Had I not spotted a coyote in ambush and yelled a warning to my dog in time, my dog would've ran off to "play" with the luring coyote in heavy brush in a canyon. I would not have been able to reach my dog in time to save her in so much brush and at such a distance away. Immediately after that incident I began putting a 2" spiked collar along with this harness on my dog every time I take her hiking.Tho there is coyote protective wear specifically made to mitigate an attack on a dog their design often doesn't offer much abdominal protection. This particular harness covers more abdominal area of my dog and the buckle system keeps the harness snug and secure. The only thing I like to see the manufacturer do is come up with a way to insert some kind of flexible protective panel to the top and abdominal area of the harness or double the thickness. Problem with doing that is it could make it more uncomfortable for the dog to wear for any length of time. True canine body armor is pretty expensive and heavy. This harness is a good design, is rugged and offers at least some protection that most other harness designs don't. Coupled with a spiked collar and "appropriate tools " in which to defend your dog if attacked, I recommend this particular harness as the best you can find for the price.
