i have tested these out with multiple cables and a large variety of devices and there is inconsistency as to whether they work or not. They will work with one cable one time but not the next. Perhaps I have faulty devices, but one cable will work one time and not the next. I have tested the cables out and used them extensively, used them with old cables, new cables and end up with the same results.

The hdmi female to female adapters work well. My only issue is that you can push the outer plastic jacket off of the adapter if you push too hard. Maybe they should consider gluing or placing a single screw to affix the plastic to the metal.

Work as designed but are quite flimsy, but you get what you pay for I plugged one of these couplers into a brand-new HDMI cable and subsequently pulled the center contact-board out of the coupler due to the stiffness of the new cable's contacts.The coupler still works once the PCB is put back into the housing, but the point remains.

This is exactly what I needed to install my Fire TV stick. I couldn't plug the TV sick into my TV because it's wall-mounted and I can't reach behind it. But I had an extension HDMI cable already attached. The problem was that the TV stick had a male plug, as did the extension cable. This female coupler was exactly the right thing to use to solve the problem. And by the way, the Fire Tv stick works like a charm.

They work good and hang tight to both cables. The cables won't slip off unless they get pulled apart, which is great. I gave it only 4 starts because I think it's a bit pricey still.

The coupler in the middle will slide in and out of the housing with minimal pressure to one end.I plugged an HDMI cable in and doing so caused the male portion to push through.Needed to push it back in - Product still worked fine.

These are working out quite well,I use them in situations where I need just a little longer extension.mostly from my laptop, to the TV...I've also used it as an extension from my camcorder to tv while video recording.They are really convenient..Simple packing, but, was will protected from shipping damage.Quite satisfied.

These things are great! Wished I had 20 of them. I do video and sound work and from time to time I have to connect, disconnect, and reconfigure cables. This makes it easy to switch cables without getting under my desk and re-routing everything.
