Long term comfort + Good acoustics
Pros- look cool- okay sound reduction with preserved sound quality- easy to carry at all times- Small enough to wear under larger ear protectors for increased protection.- long term comfortCons- Price, I feel I would generally prefer to just use disposable foam earplugs over these. But they do a good enough job I will keep using them.- Needs more sizes. The left ear piece fits perfectly, but the right ear piece can sometimes be a bit loose.- No instructions on how to best wear them. I figured I would just wear them as models demonstrate, and that seems ideal.Overall, I like them. I got them more for working around machinery while still needing to be able to hear my general surroundings and people. So I will give these a shot. I don't feel any desire to remove them to "fix" how the music sounds. Music doesn't sound crisp, but it certainly doesn't sound muffled.Update: I wore these for 6 hours straight on the first try at work. I demonstrated to my boss that they weren't headphones by dunking them in water. The water had zero affect on them. I did not notice if they sink or float, I will update this again when I notice. Overall they were very easy to clean, and provided long term comfort and noticeable improvement in ambient sound reduction of both machines and people. I could still hold conversations, but not while eating, sounds inside your head are very loud. But when the machine was running, dishes are slamming around, some people are talking while others are yelling, I was glad I was wearing them.It seems these will definitely be an often used accessory to my daily life as I keep them in my wallet (which is really a change purse).Update 2: The Dubs float on in shallow water, if you fall in a pool and they fall out of your ear, they might not float to the surface though.I found sounds are almost muted, or extremely muffled if there is any hint of water or ear wax clogging them. I clean them often at work since they are so easy to clean and I might choose to not wear them, making sure all the moisture is out of them is a bit of an annoyance for daily use in a kitchen environment, but I don't mind.Product improvement suggestion: Add a type of metal that responds to magnets, either by replacing a plastic part, or by fitting it in somewhere. If one of these gets dropped in tall grass or something of that sort, down a vent duct or whatever, being able to use an extended magnet, such as what is used for picking up nuts, bolts, nails, screws, etc... would make finding these much easier. Especially if they fall into hard to reach areas. Also, the case could use a couple of small holes (which I will be drilling in myself) to allow for ventilation. If the product isn't 100% dry after cleaning them when putting them in the case, they will increase humidity within the container. Any moisture that resides on the product or in the case can cause bacteria growth which can either damage the product or cause an infection for the person wearing them.At this point, I feel the primary influence between 1 and 5 star ratings is purely based on how good the product is for the price. Overall they are great. But not really $25 great.

Still Going Strong
I don't go to any show without these. I originally bought them because I was working in the music industry and was at live shows every night and wanted to protect my hearing but also did not want to sacrifice the quality of the music. These did a great job at lowering the sound without distorting it! My only issue is that I had a little trouble noticing when my friends were talking to me because these tended to muffle them out. These are still my tried and true and I bring them for every concert.

AMAZING for people with sensitive ears that want to get close to sets!
I loved these and they helped me get closer for concerts! I have very sensitive hearing, and my husband has destroyed his hearing through years of music festivals and concerts. He likes getting close to stages, while I can't stand it because the music is so loud I can't enjoy the concert. These were perfect!!!I wore them throughout Coachella, which has some pretty loud sets. I was able to go pretty close to the stages and was not bothered by the noise. One of my friends said a few sets were way too loud for her (without ear protection), but I didn't even notice the sets were extremely loud thanks to the DUBS. I have really small ears, and these fit me perfectly. They did not hurt my ears, and I wore them for hours. I could hear when people were trying to speak to me in the concerts. However, I couldn't hear if they tried to speak to me outside the concert when the DUBS were still in. So, if someone is yelling during a concert at you, you will be able to hear. But you can't hear someone speaking to you when they are speaking normally. The reason I put the DUBS as 4/5 stars rather than 5/5:I read in reviews that these sometimes mute the highs too much. I didn't think I would notice, but I did. When a singer had a high voice, it was difficult to hear him/her with the DUBS in. It was also difficult to hear sax and other wind instruments with the DUBS. I could hear them, but they were much quieter. It sometimes sounded as if the bass completely overpowered everything. With the DUBS out, the sounds were much more balanced. It was only an issue with certain types of music. For example, Miike Snow: the band uses uses heavy bass and wind instruments, and the singer has a high voice.Other than that, I LOVED these and will be wearing them to every concert!UPDATE:I have since worn these to dozens of concerts and one more Coachella. They are awesome and help so much to prevent ringing! I definitely enjoy shows more than the people I go with because I can go super close without damaging my ears!

Amazing
I was amazed by how well these work, i am unable to be around loud noises do to an inner ear problem so going to concerts or the movies are challenging for me. With these ear buds however i am able to go and enjoy myself without my ears crackling taking away the enjoyment of the concert or the movie. The crackling being from my ear problem. I recommend this product to anyone looking to reduce the volume without sacrificing quality. I will be buying a couple more pairs.

Dobs are great!
The delivery was prompt but more importantly the Dubs are exactly what I needed. I have acute hearing and concerts and seminars are torture for me. I just tested them out at a conference and they really do deliver a volume control without sacrificing the sound quality. I'm very pleased with them.

I bought the size that is recommended for most people
I saw these and thought they would be a little more inconspicuous that the Etymotics I have now that stick out of my ear. I bought the size that is recommended for most people. One fits well and one is too small. I don't get the seal that my Etymotics give so they are useless to me.
