Lovely mushrooms but not a huge number for the price of the kit. Especially as they broke off spontaneously

I have seen comments about the instructions being in French - if you know some basic French they are easy enough to follow, but it is true that there are no English instructions, so worth keeping in mind.I had some initial success and some lovely oyster mushrooms started to grow. However, they started to harden and growth stopped. I was spraying them several times per day. By the time I realised that the substrate/soil was bone dry, it was too late - the mushrooms were hardening and no good, and there weren’t enough for even one serving for one person. I don’t think it stays moist enough to sustain them for the 14-15 days it takes for them to grow. Spraying the mushrooms won’t keep the contents of the bag moist. I will try again as you can use the bag three times, and update if I have further success. But I would say this isn’t cost effective at all, and you must spray the mushrooms a lot.

Excellent value for money. This product is a lot cheaper than similar on the market and my daughter managed to get 2 crops of mushrooms grown from it. The mushrooms were not only beautiful to look at but very tasty too. Nice thick and juicy mushrooms for my vegetarian daughter.

I have had to sit at Google translate to work out what to do. This takes any fun and enjoyment out of this.

extremely disapointed this item brought as a gift has all packaging and instructions written entirely in French!!! The spray bottle tubebisfar too long to screw onto bottle base also. Absolutely rubbish and frankly I'd give zero stars if I could. Brought as a gift what an absolute waste of money and disapointment.

Recieved this as a Christmas gift, very impressed with the kit.Yes the instructions are in French, but surely that adds to the experience? You have to worry about people who get so furious about having to learn a tiny bit of something new.

I have been very disappointed got about 6 mushrooms from it and can’t seem to get it to grow anymore
