A wonderful story of a flute that didn't fit in!

My daughter loved this book about a flute that felt out of place! The illustrations were wonderful and we really enjoyed reading this together. She is very excited to share this with her class!

A lovely fusion between music, story-telling and illustration

I am a part-time illustrator and have illustrated children books before. This is a growing section at any bookstore, with new numbers coming out constantly. Claire Geddes brings, for me, what is a completely new color to the shelves, fusing music, story-telling and illustration in a masterful and fun way, and teaching kids about these topics along the way. It's formidable!
