Great electric toothbrush
I am very glad I purchased this as my mouth is definitely refreshed and feels like I just came from the dentist. Holds a charge well and so far no issues. I would recommend this product.

Excellent product and price
Husband was very happy to see this is the same model Oral B toothbrush they were selling at his dentist. I’ve used Oral B toothbrushes for about 20 years and am only on my second one (well made). I have found they do a thorough cleaning and the smaller brush head works well for me. Great price at $59.

Beautiful looking toothbrush but may have some motor flaws.
So I unboxed this brand new , beautifully made tooth brush. It comes with perfect instructions and pictures to better understand this product. The toothbrush is made beautifully and the packaging is superb! Everything is played out for one to get the best experience possible with this brand. I am charging the toothbrush as I write this review. It will take about 6-12 hours for the full charge. It comes with beautiful charger, a base that has an extension hanger for at least 4 brush heads, a carry case for traveling and the actual tooth brush handle that has a rubber grip. This smart 5000 series is Bluetooth compatible to focus more on your daily routine. There are 5 modes which is awesome and one cross action brush. You can buy any additional brushes (that target different types of cleaning) if needed to meet your brushing needs. The device is loud as mentioned in the reviews but I will not let that overpower the great cleaning I will get once I use it! A while ago I had ordered another Oral B toothbrush that I returned because I read reviews stating it was very loud, only to discover my friend and sister had the same toothbrush and was loving it because of its cleaning action. I won’t make that mistake again. I will be giving an update after the tooth brush is fully charged and I put it to use!! Until then , it is a beautiful, well made, extremely excellent quality electric toothbrush!💕 Update: After charging the toothbrush, I discovered that the handle shaft did not allow the oscillator mechanism to function properly. There was very powerful vibration but no oscillation. Also, while the brush pauses to do the next quadrant in your mouth , it make a strange hesitant grinding noise. The battery drains very fast too and takes a while to charge again. The tooth brush is beautiful but there seems to be some issues with the motor . As always, it could just be this particular toothbrush that has a defect but not the brand or model. I am glad I gave it a fair chance but unfortunately this toothbrush is not like the description.

Love the Brush, Not so convinced about the bluetooth.
Liked most of the features of the toothbrush. Was able to get it at a very reasonable price, $79.99, so it was worth purchasing this version. However if you could not get it at a reasonable price, I would skip the Bluetooth functionality and purchase one that is a bit more reasonable in price. The good features include the 5 different modes you can select (Daily Clean, Gum Care, Sensitive, Whitening and Deep Clean), the indicator light if you press too hard, the fact it stays charged for 10 days (have not tested this yet), the nice charger, the ability to program the brush through the app, and the travel case. The feature I am still debating on is the Bluetooth capability. The toothbrush connected seamlessly with my phone, Galaxy 4S, utilizing the Oral-B app. However the app has a very limited usefulness. The app gives you a count-up or count-down timer (selectable) as well as a graphic of your teeth quadrants while brushing. You can easily tell when it is time to move to the next quadrant by watching the app. However the toothbrush itself gives you haptic feedback (pulses) when it is time to move to the next quadrant as well. The app tells you if you are pressing the brush too hard, but the brush also lights up red to tell you that you are pressing too hard. App keeps track of how long you brushed your teeth. So unless you want to know how long you brushed your teeth for a week ago, you can actually care for your teeth without the Bluetooth ever being used with the extra benefit on not getting toothpaste spray on your smart phone! So why am I debating whether the Bluetooth is a good idea? Well the app does give you some flexibility. For instance the app allows you to turn off the haptic feedback and/or the lights on the toothbrush. The app will allow you to remove any or all brushing modes from your toothbrush or rearrange the order that they appear on your brush selection. The app also will keep track of whether it has been 90 days since you have replaced your brush. Finally the app allows you to customize how long you would like to brush in certain areas (i.e., you can add time to each quadrant) so that you can concentrate on that particular quadrant longer if required. These are nice-to-have items, but only require you to turn your app on once when you purchase the toothbrush, make your settings for the brush, and then never turn the app on again. So nice, yes. Worth $100 premium, you choose. Bottom Line: Wonderful brush, nice flexibility on the settings, no real reason to use the Bluetooth unless you desire to change settings.

One of the best toothbrushes you can get.
First, I love that it’s app connected. It’s definitely effective, more than any other electric toothbrush I’ve owned. It does a fantastic job cleaning my teeth, and my gums look very healthy too. My only issue, and it’s not that big of an issue in the slightest, is that it is a very loud toothbrush, but otherwise it’s a very good purchase.

This is a whole new level of cleaning capability. Ever since Oral B hit the market there is no better cleaning tool but many people use it so much or incorrectly they add other problems. Time and pressure are important to monitor especially for those who use this multiple times a day. This new technology allows these side effects to be controlled. It is easy to use and the Bluetooth connect allows techies greater insights and fun! It is a bit expensive but lasts for years so a good purchase.

Its a good brush. Cleans well. 4 stars as the image is a bit deceiving. Image 4 shows the app where it shows the cleaning coverage tracking. However this brush has no coverage tracking.
