A visually unique and insightful deck with a nature theme
This is not your average "nature" Tarot deck. Yes, its imagery uses animals and trees rather than people, but the artwork gives it a surprising new dimension of insight. At first some of the black and white minor cards might seem plain, but notice the angle of the lines and placement of the wands, swords, etc. This artist is both subtle and bold. The use of color is very effective combined with the shading of the black/white/grey backgrounds. Especially interesting is the expression and grace of some of the animals, which is often moving, humorous, unsettling, or just thought provoking. I'm constantly fascinated by the nuances of meaning these cards carry.As a profession Tarot reader and collector I own many Tarot decks. This is now one of my favorites.

Amazing!
This deck is an amazing deck to work with! The imagery and symbolism is at times somewhat stark but all the more powerful for it. There are no additional extras to draw your mind and intuition away from what this deck wants you to face. It is quite a raw and primitive deck that cuts straight to the heart of things. Definitely not a deck for beginners but definitely one for the collection nonetheless!

I'm in love with this tarot deck!! The colors are bright and the drawings are beautiful! The cards are thicker than most Tarot decks you can buy these days. The finish is matte so they sound, and feel different than other decks I have. Great buy! And the price was the same at the Wild Unknowns website! $40.
