I have a 2016 Ford Fiesta SE 1.6l and recently my check engine light came on for a P2135: Throttle/Position sensor/switch “A/B” Voltage Correlation. Basically the throttle sensor wasn’t maintaining a proper reading because these newer cars don’t use cable throttle controllers like the old cars. They are electronic for more accuracy and efficiency. I’ve got over 160k miles on my car. I swapped out this throttle body since the sensor itself is built into it and can’t alone be replaced. My car no longer hesitates or struggles to accelerate, check engine light is gone. I’ve put 700+ miles on it so far and no issues.
