Great for testing AV equipment
I have no need to use my iPhone on a large screen really, but this gadget is great to carry around in my technician's tool bag for when I'm on-site and need to test an HDMI or VGA input without having to carry a laptop everywhere. Having to connect it to a USB or power outlet is mildly inconvenient, but it has to get power from somewhere, so not a major problem.

Good product but with a few issues
This is a good product that did the job I needed it for. It utilities an internal CPU that upscales the output. The down side of this is because of the output resolution you can’t use it on older monitors that can’t handle its output. Also power needed too bit a usb cable is provided. Up shot of this is that it slightly charges your phone when in use. By slightly charge I mean it won’t drain as fast as normal.

This won’t let me stream on my projector!
Really disappointed. I bought this to watch ‘Game of Thrones’ on my projector using my iPad, but it wouldn’t play. The iPad screen shows on the projection when the two were connected through the masonrun so I know it is working and I can play Game of Thrones on the iPad alone, but it won’t play if the iPad is connected to the masomrun. I was so excited, as I said, now very disappointed.

But in emergency as it is needed by my college committee to do a presentation. The guest want to show his ppt on iPad so this is essential.

This product requires external power
I found this product to be very temperamental. It also requires an external power source, which means that when using it with an iPad, there isn't an available USB source to charge it. I had difficulties making it work and the instructions provided and online are contradictory. I cannot recommend this product and will purchase an alternative

it is very nice, really help me a lot when i see a movie ,connect it to the movie device.it has three digital usb adapter, it could connect to different device. it is very beautiful, it is also useful , i love it very much, it is siliver, model style ,it is very good, all my friendes love it very much.

Disappointed
This did not work for me at all. Nothing would play when I connected the TV to my iPad. There was no sound either. I was really disappointed.

useful and good quality
Really Great! I used it to connect my iPhone and TV. So I could see my favorite video on TV! Very useful and helpful. That’s amazing to watch YouTube on so big screen.
