Survival Hax 2 Person Instant Pop Up Camping Tent

Great tent! Set up was super easy, less than 5 minutes just to pot up and unhook the poles. Probably ten minutes with staking the taut lines. Brilliant design, not sure I can ever go back to manual pole installation. I have not yet tested it in the field. It fit me my husband and 2 children snugly. I'm 190 lbs, 5ft. 6inches, my husbands 185lbs 5'11 inches. We have a 2 year old and an 8 year old. We can fit 4 sleeping bags side by side with pillows, or 1 blow up queen air mattress that fills up the whole space. You'd have to squeeze duffle bags around the edges. It would comfortably fit 2 adults and 1 child, or three kids. It's super roomy for 2 adults. Snug for 3 adults. You get the idea. I like how it folds down and fits in a circular zipper pack with straps for slinging around your back. You'd have to sling it around the outside of a hiking pack. It wouldn't roll up, just lays down flat and the poles snap underneath, holds together with a sling. Be careful taking the sling off, hold it tight on both ends so it doesn't pop out at you. ;) my kids love it, can't wait to take it out.

The few good things, I can say but not enough to give a great review.First: This tent sets up and folds up easier than any other tent I've had. I'm not sure why others have reviews about it being so difficult. The instructions were inside the carrying bag.Second: Airflow really is poor unless you want to keep both doors open 24 hours which is unlikely being you don't want to expose yourself to critters.Third: This tent is perfect for CHILDREN, NOT ADULTS.There's no way you can fit 2 adults inside unless they were very short.Fourth: The zippers on the tent were single zippers. They could've had double zippers. Which would've made getting into and out of the tent easier. Much less opening or closing the tent.Last: This was very horrible for retaining condensation inside the tent. The walls had water all over like it had rained inside the tent. It did rain. Yes, rain came in from the seams, the zippers and the top vent as well even though it was covered. Yes, this was sprayed with waterproofing.Overall: Disappointed

I LOVE this tent! I have used it over and over again. It's so easy to set up. I mean literally 30 seconds. When we go camping, I am already set up and starting a hike before my friends have even finished setting their tents up.It's shockingly spacious... plenty of room for two or a lot of room for one! The fabric is great for the casual camper and the little mesh roof lets you look at the stars (weather permitting)!All in all, this tent is perfect for anyone looking for an easy tent to use on their camping trips. I will buy another one if mine every bites the dust!

POP up tent. very quick 'put up', but very difficult to take down. Lots of fun for the back yard. It links to a hulu hoop size and then is suppose to twist and fold to half that size, but takes practice. I was hoping to take it on a four wheeler, but it is a little big for that. LOVE it in the yard for the kids though.

4/5 only because I haven't had a chance to use it as of yet. Super easy to deploy, took me a couple tries to get it folded back up, went on youtube found a video provided by Suvuval hax and was good to go. Plan was to use this as part of a 72 hour kit for Search and Rescue but it's kind of big..certainly won't fun in my pack. We will see. Initial quality seems good and as I said, sets up as advertised. Def larger than I thought...2-3 adults easy.

I received this tent yesterday. Putting it up is a breeze. But I can not figure out how to fold it back up. I have been buying pop up products for years and never had a problem. I am totally lost on this one. There is so much tension on the poles I don't think I'm doing it right. I have searched for other instructions or a video and have had no successes! Please help if you can. I love this tent and concept. I am really short and I have other tents but I can't pitch them myself. Thank you

I love the pop-up feature, and the size is great. However, I had not actually used the product when I placed my earlier review. BIG mistake! We had set up the tent inside out house and it appeared adequate at the time. But actual use and bright sunlight gave us a much different impression. I had intended to use the tent on the beach to provide shade, and the mesh openings appeared perfect to provide ventilation. But we only used the tent once. The tiny anchor pegs are not adequate to hold the tent in the sand and a mild breeze made the tent almost collapse. My husband and I jumped in the tent when we found that the pegs wouldn't hold, hoping that our weight would stabilize the tent. Inside, sunlight allowed us to see that some of the stitches were tearing through the fabric on the sides of the tent. The actual tent material is very light weight and was starting to gap and to fray where some stitches had begun to tear through. Spreadeagled on the tent floor, we used our extremities to keep the tent upright. It didn't take long for us to give up, but we found that the floor of the tent had ripped completely in half while we were lying on it. I have learned my lesson about praising a product before actually using it. Since we were out of the USA and overweight with our luggage, we decided to just discard the product.

I got this tent to use at ultra marathons. It truly is a pop up tent. I have not used it yet but I have gotten it out and set it up several times. I am tent-impaired so I needed something I could do by myself. Very easy to set up. A little difficult to pack away. Bigger than I expected which was another great surprise. Looking forward to using.
