Its black nitrile synthetic rubber tube resists oil, petroleum products, and aromatic compounds, and its Futurin (CPE, chlorinated polyethylene) cover resists ozone, weathering, oil, chemicals, and flame. It has braided wire reinforcement for a maximum pressure rating of 50 pounds per square inch (psi). This hose assembly can withstand temperatures ranging from -40 to +140 degrees F. It meets Underwriter's Laboratories (UL) Standard 300 and Underwriter's Laboratories of Canada (CUL) standards for dispensing flammable liquids, and comes equipped with two factory-installed cast zinc male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threaded couplings with crimped aluminum ferrules.
