Waste of money
Don't bother trying to save a buck with this. Maybe it would work if your house is designed perfectly with a window away from all metal and 5 feet off the ground. We couldn't get it to work. It turns on and seems like it's working, but we can't set a boundary. I would return it, but I am outside the 30 days.

Could upgrade to 5 stars?
The jury is still out on this product. I am having some trouble with it going off randomly. This seems to happen when for some unknown reason the power goes off on the transmitter which then causes the receiver to beep. I'm still giving it 4 stars because of it's range, price and charging style (i.e. no batteries). Could be that I'm just missing a certain instruction.... ? My current work-around is to remove the collar when the dog is in the house. I needed to deal with the seller early on and they were fantastic.

Junk, sent it back
Tried 3 different areas of my house for the transmitter. It would shock my puppy 10 feet from it and sometimes let her go clear to the road. Sent to back.

Excellent for any terrain and massive spaces
It would make a dog's day to run around all day in a wide field. But often, for us owners, it can be a real nightmare. For one, if you have a massive space, that would take a lot of fences to make and install. It's too much money and a lot of time, too. You can't be sure a wooden fence would even keep your dog out. This wireless fence, however, is just wonderful. The maximum range of up to 500 meters is unbelievable. Now, I can forget about paying hundreds and thousands for fencing my large yard. My dog would just run around the safe zone.

good product. excellent customer service
I love the easy set up of this collar and system. It did the job of keeping my dog in my yard without running off and having to chase him down. My collar did, however, have a malfunction, where it randomly would turn off, a few months in to using it. I contacted customer service for funace and even though my warranty time frame was up, they still sent me a new collar, free of charge. For that reason, I still give 5 stars!

I saw my friend using the wireless dog fence system so easily and was impressed. I bought one for my dog too. What I like about this system is that it is a harmless way of keeping your dog safe. I was able to train my dog to stay within the boundaries and she doesn't stray onto the roads or the neighbourhood anymore. And my dog only got shock once and learned the boundaries.
