Used it for a double compound fracture--tib & fib
This was prescribed for me in 16'. Couldn't buy them--had to be prescribed. It didn't work for me. I have a post in my leg and spent 7weeks in the hospital and after-care. Exogen was prescribed--the cost was $1,000.00 but that was waived for financial reasons. It ran for a preset number of days and a second one was sent. Halfway thru the second run my Ortho. surgeon said it wasn't helping. So I have a titanium post in my tibia and a hole in the bone. My break was extreme and I have osteoporosis and prayed it would work. It didn't but it might for someone else. So--as with every other product out there--it's a crap shoot.
