Works great! Unit looks very strong and have had a very good experience driving with this in my K1500 over the past year. Carrier bearings are different from stock. Part numbers for correct bearings were included.

I wanted to believe in this as a cheap upgrade for a G80 locker in a 2009 Silverado 1500 - disclaimer, I bought a used truck with this "upgrade" already done by the previous owner. Lockup is tight, works well in that regard with little tire chirps going around corners...but the "upgrade" lasted less than a year (100% street use with occasional light towing) when one spider gear broke in half with no apparent cause on my part. Tore it down, handful of chips and tooth fragments and one strange twisted ribbon of sheet metal... Inspected the spiders and found cracks starting at the root of nearly every tooth. Spiders and end gears have all kinds of sharp edges and stress risers and there are chips missing from places where there isn't even gear to gear contact. As mentioned by another reviewer, the design uses split bushings (!?) at the cross pin ends (that's where the twisted ribbon came from). The spider cross pin does not rotate in this design but there is a lot of side loading on these bushings and if the pin hammers on the split in the bushing, there's an opportunity for the fit to loosen and lead to misalignment of the spiders to the end gears, and catastrophe. Much worse that the G80 "Gov Bomb" locker. If something seems Too Good to be True, it probably isn't good at all...it makes more sense pay more for a better unit from a known name brand. Should have left the G80 in there I guess
