GREAT KNIFE
Great knife at a great price. No problems so far. Love the spring assist makes the knife quick and easy to open.

beware of the spring assist
originally i purchased this knife at my local sporting goods store. and i really loved it. the best spring assist i have on any knife! and its an Mtech which is a very cheap brand in comparison to kershaw or kabar. anyways i liked the knife so much i decided to get a second one to have as soon as the first one gave out (if it ever goes out that is) well the knife i got from amazon is exactly the same in the looks department, however the spring is really bad. awful. weak. upon closer inspection i noticed that the amazon knife is the the mx-a812sw, while the knife from my sporting goods store is the mx-a812sw-so. i wonder if that makes a difference on the spring but they look exactly the same!! i believe amazon got a hold of mtechs defective knifes or something cuz this is one let me down. For those first time buyers of this knife it may appear ok or even good but that is only because you wont have anything to compare it to. but my original knife has 20x the spring than this one.over all i say its an ok knife. still looks cool. still spring assisted and its a good price.
