Good for experimenting with different sounds
I bought these for my son, who has been playing the trumpet for three years and is entering high school next year. He has worked hard over the years to improve his range and tone, and he thought perhaps a change in mouthpieces would assist him. We were excited to find this bundle of three different sizes at such an affordable price because we didn't really know which one he would end up liking, and it would have been a shame to spend a small fortune buying them individually from other sources if it turned out he didn't like them after all. They arrived on time, neatly packed in a gift box with a decorative cord wrapped around it. Not that this matters to the playability of the mouthpieces, but it was a nice touch. However, if you're looking to gift these to a boy (or other person who does not particularly like pastel colors), you might want to find a different box; this box was a beautiful pastel pink and lavender. These appear to be machined well, and they have good sound quality. They fit easily into the trumpet and are smooth.I also purchased the 3C/5C/7C bullet shape (v-shape) mouthpiece set at the same time from the same seller. My son has been experimenting with all six and has found he likes them all, for different reasons. What he's doing now is changing mouthpieces depending on the song or the playing venue (brighter sound for marching and pep band, richer sound for concerts, different size for easier playing in different registers, etc.), and he loves the flexiiblity. At some point, if he stays with the trumpet, it may become necessary to spend the money on name-brand mouthpieces, but for now we aren't noticing any deficiencies, and the benefits are definitely worth the chance to experiment! If you have an intermediate trumpet player in your life who is ready to try out what a different mouthpiece can do for them, I would highly recommend this set, as well as the comparable bullet-shape ones.

Delightful 3-pack!
I had my reservations when I bought these as I was aware they were modeled after the Vincent Bach originals, but were not true V. Bach mouthpieces per se. Let me be straightforward, I am not a trumpet player in the experienced sense. I have a couple of trumpets and a cornet that I take out and blow into for fun. I wanted to try some different size mouthpieces to better understand what their differences are, and what works best for me. These all work fine for my needs. I like them! But my skills are limited. As my embouchure develops strength I am hoping my sense of discernment will guide me to the closest fit for playing with a true and clear tone. Then I can decide about investing in a real V. Bach mouthpiece. Besides these, I have one heavy brass mouthpiece: a Mxfans 9.8mm Outer Diameter 3C Trumpet Mouthpiece Replacement Golden-Plated mpc.. I also have a Schilke and a Jet-Tone Al Hirt model, and the Holton original two that were with the trumpet. Quite a collection! The learning experience continues! I'm having a lot of fun!

Perfect for my son
My 14 y/o was looking for a different sized mouthpiece for this trumpet. After pouring through my options on here, I came across this gem. I was worried about if he would like it or not because he was asking for a specific size. I took a chance anyway. He was actually thrilled! He got the size he wanted, a backup for the size he currently uses and he got to try out a different size to see how it sounded.Thank you!

It came tarnished. Still a good value for the price!
So, yes, as soon as you open the lovely box that these come in you can already see through the plastic bag that each of these 3 trumpet mouthpieces come in. But, I have silver polish and in no time with minimal effort these were brought to a bright silvery shine! The 7C plays well, looks great...I had trouble concerning endurance and in different registers with both the 5C and the 3C. Oh well...if you have an old Vincent Bach 7C like I do then this is a good value!

Great value for some nice mouthpieces
I love that I'm now able to switch between different types of mouthpieces to fit my necessities. I usually go for the 3C for everyday practice and the 7C for some rare energetic performances.

Strange feel, akward to play
These are poorly designed and not a good choice for anyone as far as I can tell. The sizes of all parts are not aligned with any sizing I am familiar with, and they played poorly for myself and all of the students I let try them. Right now they are sitting useless on my shelf, and I dont plan on using them.

Start your mouthpiece journey here
I’ve tried many mouthpieces in my life. I’ve had Bobby shew, Dennis wick, jet tone, you name it, I’ve tried it. We all know that the Bach mouth pieces vary but these are tremendous value for the price, especially for people starting out on their mouthpiece journey. If you want a mouthpiece sample platter that won’t break the bank, this is for you,

Awesome value
Got these for my young trumpet player, as the plating was wearing off his old mouthpiece. These are well machined and plated, and gives him an opportunity to try the three most popular mouthpiece sizes for less than the price of a single Bach or other name brand. Great value
