These are decent paint brushes for hobbyists and beginners, especially if you are working in watercolors. You are not going to get a lot of fine detail work out of them, and the assortment in this set is not very good. There are a few nice, large sizes, but not many small and fine sizes. And the handles are very long, maybe too long for kids to use. But they lay down a decent wash on large watercolor sheet, and you can get a nice hard edge with some of the smaller sized brushes. They are well-made and do not lose bristles after multiple cleanings. But the best thing about this set is the carrying case. It has one of the nicest cases I have. The case is sturdy, and has a feature where you can stand the set up at a nice angle.

This is a serviceable set of brushes, but they did not live up to my expectations. Right out of the package the ferrule on the number 10 was loose and had to be repaired. On all of the brushes except for numbers 2 and 3, there is a gap between the ferrule and the brush handle, where the ferrule is crimped. This is mainly an annoyance, particularly when cleaning up, but the end of the ferrule is sharp and could possibly cause cuts on the fingers. The number 2 brush had about a half-dozen stray bristles that I had to trim before it could be used. Lastly, the paint on several of the handles is bubbled and rough, making the brushes uncomfortable to hold. (For what it's worth, the bubbles are visible and make the brushes look cheap.) These are imperfections that are common in cheap brushes, but this set is sold as a "Professional Quality" product. The brushes are fine for beginners and maybe advanced beginners, but they are sub par for for the experienced or professional artist.

We are a family of artists, three generations with all our own style and medium..and we all love to paint what ever we create. These brushes lighted up the room with everyone scrambling to create something to paint. They are well made, nice long handles and well balanced. no wobble, no bristle loss. The bristles hold paint well and allow for perfect painting no matter which technique desired. Nice range of sizes and styles. We like them. The nice zippered case encourages all my artists to take care of the brushes (my big nag, when brushes are not properly maintained) Just lovely all the way around. Good value for much enjoyment. Also included is a link to three free art manuals; Canvas painting, pencil drawing, and Introduction to oil painting..a nice add-on. Fast shipping, good customer service, terrific value.

This is a great variety of brushes for the price. Brushes are good quality and a great value. I am a beginner painter and didn't want to spend a ton of money trying to aquire all the differect brushes I want to try out. No bristles have come lose, which is a pet peve of mine, and so far they are holding up rather well.Shipping was quick through Amazon Prime. I would highly recommend this product. I am very happy with my set.

This is my second brush set purchased from magic touch. They continually deliver incredible brushes. For the premium quality, I will definitely come back next time and recommend this product to my friends.

These were much larger than anticipated. Having said that, they're great quality for the price. They paint smoothly and I like the variety of brushes offered. The carrying case is also a nice little extra, which helps keep me more organized with my painting supplies. I'd highly recommend these!

These are my first paint brushes. So far I have had good luck with them! The glue that held together the bristles washed out with water and gentle rubbing. The bristles are clamped in nice and tight, not falling out on me.

Brush heads had already fallen off while in transit on a few brushes. The adhesive used is clearly not up to par.
