This definitely did not work for a 21hp intek briggs and stratton 594601. After replacing the carb with this one it kept dying a couple of minutes after running, especially with the blades engaged. Spent days going through wiring and switches, etc. Finally ordered the 594601 oem Briggs part, spent 20 minutes replacing it, and it ran great. Dont waste your time on this for a 21hp briggs intek. Buy the oem part for $100 and be done in an hour.

It idles at very high RPM, no means to regulate. At max RPM it creates misfires. It's just a cheap replacement that may work in smaller engines but it didn't in my Briggs and Stratton 540cc 21HP engine

ordered this carb unsure of the quality because of the price. even though its cheap it worked excellent installed it on craftsman yts 3000 and this carb made it run like new. Awesome for the price

Was easy to install on my craftsman 19.5hp riding mower. Runs without hesitation, but I have one small problem. It idles high and the adjustments not bringing it to where I want it.

This carb fit my craftsman 21 hp briggs perfectly. Works great.

I have installed countess of these carbs, and only had issues with a couple. They work fine.
