These Samsung 25r batteries have a very good reputation and if you order from a reliable seller like this one and get genuine batteries you will not be disappointed. These are rated for a continuous current discharge of 20amps, which is plenty for things like led torches, you will get a much brighter beam than with alkaline batteries, and the torch will only get a little warm. You should fully charge these in a good quality charger before first use, if your charge has an internal resistance measurement it should indicate 20-30 milli ohms after a couple of discharge cycles, this very low IR is an indicator of a high quality battery that will give good performance for several hundred recharge cycles (if the IR is much higher for this battery it is in bad condition or not genuine samsung)

The product is good but be aware that the batteries do not have a nipple on the positive terminal meaning they may not make contact in your devices. I had to drop a lump of solder on the positive terminal to make a connection
