Cheerful, Clever Fun
This may be a spin-off from a Nickelodeon show, but that doesn't detract from the fact that this book is clever, high-energy, and good-humored, with just an occasional touch of kid friendly edge. There are puns, smart jokes, interesting throwaway lines, authentic feeling banter, and stories that sometimes have a surprising twist. The setup in this issue is that the eldest Loud sister, Lori, is driving the family van to drop each of her siblings off at their planned Saturday activities. So, each dropoff introduces a story starring one of the Loud siblings. The tales are silly or frantic or pointed or just goofy, but there's a lot of variety and most definitely a lot of energy.I can see why these books are valued by new readers. I'm an old reader and I like their colorful anarchy.(Please note that I had a chance to read a free ecopy of this book without a review requirement, or any influence regarding review content should I choose to post a review. Apart from that I have no connection at all to either the author or the publisher of this book.)

Dropping off 11 kids for activities can lead to a busy day with this family
'The Loud House #6: Loug and Proud' by The Loud House Creative Team is a spinoff comic based on the hit Nickelodeon series.Lincoln Proud has 10 sisters and is in a van full of siblings who are all off to do different things. One is going to a beauty pageant, one to a music festival, one to buy a hat for her ventriloquist dummy. Lincoln wants to meet up with his friends, but they keep moving around. Will he be the last one to get dropped off?I've read a couple of these, and they are filled with short gags about each kid. This time around, I really liked the framing story. It helped the book feel like one big story, even though it was made up of shorter adventures. Even though the book has multiple artists, the art felt consistent across the board, which is pretty amazing.I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Papercutz and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

Experimento fallido

A fine comic
Digressing from the first 5 books, this one offers a single long story in multiple substories, featuring Lori bringing all her siblings to their activities, with Lynn holding her occupation for last to surprise the older sister. All the individual chapters are good in different degrees: my favourite was the Lily one where she is going to pass her day with Pop-pop but soon all the elders in the retirement home want to spend some time with the baby. Speaking of the art, we have some new faces compared to the older books: most are fine, but I can't stand Melissa Kleynowski's art for the Lucy story, her drawings look like they were made in MS Paint.
