Unusually Impressed by this product
I had my doubts that anything would work for my problem. I own an Italsofa (watch out for that brand) recliner. It was only a few years old, but apparently the so-called leather on the headrest didn't like the hair spray in my wife's hair. The stuff called leather started to deteriorate at a rapid pace - leaving little pieces of ersatz leather on the seat and floor. You can see what it looked like by viewing any of the other pictures in this section showing leather peeling off the surface. My problem went from a 1x1 inch damaged area to a 8x11 inch area in several weeks. Just using the chair and resting my head against the headrest caused the surface to peel off.I had tried adhesive-backed materials before in other applications without much success. They usually just fell off after a bit. The reason I felt this material would probably act the same way is that the headrest is curved, which makes it a challenge to fit a piece which precisely covers the damaged area, and the area of the headrest that needed repair was an area that gets compressed or pushed on by the head every time the chair is used -- and during use.Anyway, the first thing I noticed out of the box was that the material was very strong. I wasn't impressed by what I thought would be the adhesive strength when I peeled corner back and touched it. It didn't seem overly sticky. But I persisted. I figured out how much of the 3 sheets I would need -- and I only needed most of one - another good thing about the purchase - so much material for comparably little money. When I figured out that I would be cutting off a little material from the first sheet, I decided to see how well it would stick to the existing leather. The color was a shade more dull that my chair, but not that far off. I stuck the little piece to the bottom edge of the chair and it stuck pretty well, so I decide to proceed. Here's my secret - I wiped the deteriorated and surrounding area under the patch with isopropol alcohol. I had read somewhere (maybe in a fever dream) that alcohol would clean and help adhesion - and I needed to get the hairspray residue off. I was careful not to wipe areas that would show after applying the new piece. Good thing because the alcohol dulled the surface.Anyway, I fitted the new piece and started to apply it - of course got it off angle right away. I was able to pull off the leading edge and realign it twice, then got it right. I pulled off the backing from underneath as I applied the material so it didn't stick to unintended places as it was being rolled out. Best not to waste time in applying it because after a few minutes it would be impossible to remove it without damage. I ran into one place as I rolled it out where the surface curved so much that I inadvertently folded the new material on itself which created a couple of very small puckers - I decided not to cut them. Glad I didn't cut them. They're almost unnoticeable now. Bottom line - the material "set up" after a few hours and stuck much better than expected when I ran the test. I have used the chair without thinking about where my head is pressing for several days now. No sign of de-laminating - very tight around the edges. The material is thin enough so that its' edges are not readily seen.I didn't have to fuss very much at all while applying it, and I saved the chair, which otherwise was in great shape, but destined for the landfill. So, in conclusion, I am very happy with the material and have 2 sheet left over for future repairs. At last, a purchase which lives up to its claims! (Very sorry I didn't take before and after photos, but the others in this section show it accurately.) Obivously, I recommend it highly!

Amazing!!
Used it on our pleather black couch. Insane how awesome the color matched. Took me a few tries to get it straight but it's awesome. Kept it between the seems on our couch instead of over them to make it blend better and you can barely tell it's there, can't see it at all from afar. Will update in a few months on its durability. Only took one sheet for the arm of our couch so we still have two more sheets for future use!Edit 6 months later: Still can't even tell it's there!! Well worth the money. I'm not even taking another photo to add because it's the same as the ones I uploaded. I'm not sure how it would fare with children or animals (our dogs aren't allowed no the couch) but I'm impressed!!

Black is black, brown is lighter then expected
The size was perfect to cover the head and arm rests. I was able to blend it into the cut of the recliner. The chair is used at work and sees a lot of traffic. I placed the pieces and left it to “cure” until the next day. I’m really surprised that it hasn’t pulled up at all.I did have to exchange brown for black and the exchange was fast.

Really impressed (for about 4 days)
Loved this product at first - nice big pieces, soft & supple faux leather, easy to apply - I thought I had finally found what I'd been looking for.....that lasted for about 4 days. The patches initially started lifting at the corners, then the adhesive just gave out, so the patches either flapped or pretty much just came off. I used it all in one shot, so there's no returning it - save your money and pass on this product!

Added life to our pleather couches
So we have an electric reclining couch we we bought about 10 years ago and the faux leather is starting to peel off. We can't find a slipcover for this couch anywhere, and I hated the thought of replacing it since all of it is still working well. My husband bought these to cover up the balder patches on the couch and the patches have been working surprisingly well. It blends in well enough and has lasted for several months of us all flopping on the couch.

Does the job! Looks new
My puppy chewed the front of our brand new leather couch. Not once, or twice but three times and now the hole is huge. One piece of this fixed it, it seriously looks Brand new! It’s not as sticky as I thought it would be, but I guess that’s kind of good and kind of bad because when my dog got her mouth on it after I got it fixed -it was able to come off in one piece instead of glue all over the couch.

Worked well
I received a home theater seat with big puncture hole in it. I couldn't return it because I opened it 3 months after I received it. This patch not only matched with the color but looks like it is part of the build. The adhesion around the corners is something I am concerned about in the long run, but it is doing good for now.

Worked Great, better than expected. Very grateful.
I bought this for a temporary solution for the couch. I am extremely satisfied. The patches are somewhat noticeable during the day, and almost unnoticeable at night. And my couch had big holes and tears. Thank you for selling this product, it works really great in my opinion.
