I purchased this journal for my dear friend who is an attorney. He is SO HARD to buy for! I am BEYOND PLEASED with my purchase of this journal! Especially for the man who has “everything he wants/needs" anyway! The superior grade leather, superb design and detailed craftsmanship of the journal is by far, hands down, the ultimate journal! Period. Especially for him! I feel as though it was custom made for him from the soft yet lifelong strong leather, the ruggedness yet very classy look suits him perfectly! Plus he HONESTLY loved it stating, "It’s perfect! I love it! I’m writing a book anyway! Thank you baby, I will use this OFTEN!" As he smiled touching (and smelling) the leather and admiring the rugged craftsmanship! He is an outdoorsman, Triathlete. PERFECT GIFT FOR HIM!! I have always wanted a leather journal and after really getting into planning I got better at journaling as well. After many choices on Amazon I chose this one and I am beyond pleased! The craftsmanship is beautiful, the feel and smell of the leather is amazing. I wanted a mix of the inserts so I bought blank and dot grid to put in it along with the lined. The instruction video went a little fast but I was able to refill it with my preferences in about 20 minutes. I will be buying more for gifts. Seriously, BEAUTIFUL JOURNAL!

I must say something about the personal factors of the Jofelo business. The staff is kind and responsive and their business is done well. They care about the quality of their product! The Journal came packaged in a finely designed box and made me anticipate opening it up to see the Journal inside! I could tell by the careful packaging, that inside is a new heirloom of mine. The delivery was prompt as promised. The paper is such fine quality, It makes you want to write and dread making errors! The leather is beautiful, exceptional quality. It's just awesome! I love it!

This is a beautiful well made journal. The leather is genuine which was evident when I opened the box. The packaging, or the care place in packaging, leaves a ton to be desired. The plastic wrap was torn, the black box was dented in the corner and the case holding the journal was torn on that corner. I am aggravated that no more care was provided in the packaging and shipping than that!!! Now I get to present this gift to my niece in a box that has been beat to hell.

I just got my journal today (5-17-20) and it is higher quality than I expected. I really enjoy the rough leather look, and it feels very nice in the hand. The leather is flexible and isn’t dried out! Aside from the journal itself, the pen is great as well! It seems to be made of real wood and has a nice luxurious weight to it. It is a little top heavy when writing, but I actually prefer my pens this way! I would definitely recommend this for a gift or for yourself! I am personally using mine to keep a log of my piano practice, so I can refer to thoughts or struggles from previous practices. I am a photographer, and I loved the aesthetics of this journal enough to break out my camera and strobe, so you guys could see how beautiful these things are. NOTE: These images are not edited. They are straight out of the camera, so colors and textures are accurate!

I got my daughter-in-law a journal for Christmas and my son (her husband) loved it so much I thought he was going to take it away from her! Soooo, for his birthday I came back and found one for him. This journal is beautiful, sturdy, has lined pages and is refillable, that was one of the main selling points for me. I wanted to take up journaling, but I wanted something that was very cool and old school looking. This one was perfect as it is refillable too. The pen that comes with writes really nice as well.
