SkyDRX890W 2TB SKY+ HD BOX Set-top Box

Sorry I was late with my review but I was using my box so much that I forgot! I can't praise Chigwell Satellite enough, my Sky+ box arrived in mint condition with easy to follow instructions. I always wanted a 2TB Sky+ box and it's great having so much space for recording programmes in HD and barely using much memory.No complaints about the product or seller. An easy 5 stars.

This was bought for my mother in law to replace her deceased Sky HD box, so no pressure then !!, the box arrived the day after purchase and upon opening the package i was pleased to find a mint condition new setop box,a new remote, batteries ,power lead and an HDMI lead, everything that would be needed to get the box up and runningit took five mins to swap the box for my MIL, another two mins to pair the card with the new box and it was all up and running perfectly, i tried all of the basic functions,channel guide, record etc and all worked perfectly, so i have gained a few brownie points from the MIL and she has a brand new 2tb stb to play with, we can look forward to many happy hours of Eastenders recordings when we visit........how lucky am i :((She is extremely happy with the box and given the bargain price i thoroughly recommend this box

Cancelled my subscription to sky don’t like using obsolete electronics after being a very long term customer paying £20.00 monthly and only using a few channels which didn’t make sense to continue this subscription, as being an old aged pension (84yr) I have to watch my pennies

Upgraded to sky 2tb HD after old box failed. This system doesn't have RF out so I I also purchased a TriLink RF adapter to get the system to work as my old one did. Easy to set up. Bare in mind...Sky settings 001 put RF ON! Check you tube videos for info.

I initially gave a poor review to the supplier. I had failed to follow the instructions to set up the Sky box and hand set. I received a phone call from the supplier who guided me through the process, for which I am very grateful. So I apologise for posting my first review. I therefore wish to post a 5 star service. They spent a lot of time during ‘out of hours’ talking me through the procedure. So 5 stars is under assessment, so thank you for your help. Ps the process was not difficult, I just failed to read the instructions properly.

Although the delivery and condition of the goods was very good i have since found out that the HD is only 1TB not 2TB maybe a genuine mistake but i did pay a premium for the 2TB box.

Out the box till power on no more than 10 minutes, excellent picture and easily set up, I connected it wireless, that seemed to work better than a wired connection to your router. I was very pleased with my purchase,Then it just stopped working, no light on the front nothing, Amazon refunded my money so that was not a problem, just the timescale in purchasing a replacement

The box arrived a day earlier than expected and is as-new. I was setup and going in under 10mins. The instructions mention pairing the box to the card but I didn't need to call Sky, the box simply popped up a message to press the yellow button to pair, and it was all done!They even include an HDMI cable, new remote, batteries and plug.Really great service, and saves me from moving to Sky Q.
