Great Christmas Special!! Andy Williams is a class act!!! It brings back memories of when Christmas was a special time of year and you looked forward to the Christmas TV specials!!

There was a problem with the purchase. The case is broken and pieces missing. They need to package DVDs better so this does not happen to others.

This DVD features Andy's family including the Williams and Osmond Brothers. Very entertaining and lovely clips from his Christmas specials over the years.

I bought this for my 89 year old mom, who talks about these specials every Xmas. She’d have liked just the original special but this is a compilation of clips. It’s very good and did the job. As another reviewer pointed out, if Andy’s wearing a white sweater on the cover, it’s the PBS special. Now, it says 2 hours and 25 minutes, but the actual special is 60 minutes. The extra feature Behind the scenes is also good and has interviews. The Old Fashioned Christmas included as an extra feature has NOTHING to do with Andy Williams ( I assume, because I turned it off after 5 minutes) skip that extra.All in all it will take you back. I’m 60, so I remember all these a big part of Christmas tv from childhood.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this dvd. I was born in 1970, at the tail end of these specials. For several years, I was likely too young to remember the shows, but I do remember hearing Andy William's voice on our hi-fi, while looking at the colored lights of our Christmas tree. It was a magical time, as the rest of my life would be affected by disease.This dvd is grainy in spots, but it's still well worth buying. The William's Brothers were so talented, and it was wonderful of them to mentor the Osmond Brothers. These variety shows were true entertainment. The sets and costumes are gorgeous, and the supporting talent is just...wow.I also had no idea that the beautiful and demure Madonna-like wife of Andy Williams was later the accused in a murder trial. She was acquitted, but it's worth reading about. I was also saddened to learn that Andy Williams was dying of bladder cancer in the fall 2012, the same time my aunt was dying of it. The world has lost too much talent to cancer. Prayers for all.

Andy Williams is a man worth remembering. A beautiful voice and he had a lovely television show that we enjoyed especially at Christmas time. Andy's warmth and kindness as a human being radiates in this wonderful video.

My mom was a huge fan of the Andy Williams Christmas specials, so I was excited to give her this DVD this year. We both expected it to be a few of the specials, themselves. Instead, it proved to be different highlights, apparently selected by the late Williams himself before the DVD was pressed. It was still an enormous amount of fun, and worth every penny for both the main feature and the behind-the-scenes feature. (I do NOT, however, recommend the 'Old-Fashioned Christmas' bonus feature.)It's a good DVD to own, though, especially for those who wax nostalgic about the TV specials, or for those who (like me) have never seen them and have been curious. It does a great job of showing what a talented man Andy Williams was.

Many of the numbers are already on Andy Williams other Christmas DVD's. That said, it was worthwhile watching as Andy is always easy to listen to. The DVD states it goes over 2 hours. Actually (and this is why I gave it 3 stars), the concert goes for 1 hour. The other two "fillers in" are not worth bothering with - in fact one of them has nothing to do with Andy Williams at all.

I send this to my mom who has alzheimers in the nursing home. She loves music and they play this in her dvd player and it lifts up her moody days. It is entertaining and lots of songs perfect for the Holiday and everyday to add sunshine during this pandemic.
