I really like this product
I really like this product. I take 2 TB and add it to 1.5 cups of water. I boil it than for 15 minutes and drink as a tea. Great source of vitamin C and antioxidants. The taste is great! Will buy again.

The flavor of these is somewhat like burnt barbecue.
I bought these buckthorn berries because I love the sour kick of their flavor in Teavana's Citrus Lavender Sage tea, and I know they're a super food for health. So, I was going to use them in my own herb tea concoctions. But when I tried these, I found that they had a strange flavor, kind of like a burnt barbecue. The berries themselves do have a nice tart fruity taste, but the residue around them has the weird flavor, more appropriate for a steak sauce than a citrus drink. I don't know if this is typical of Buckthorn berries (maybe it is--this is the first time I've bought them). If that's what is to be expected, then you won't be disappointed as I was. I just had different hopes for the flavor. I will still try other brands--or possibly buy the juice.

dirty, stems
The product was extremely old dead, dirty, stems, rocks and dirt and was so old it would not sprout. It is totally unusable and was a total waste of my money and will never buy another sunburst product.

Molded as soon as we tried to rehydrate according to directions. Extremely disappointed.
