*****UPDATE***** every day use for 2 week review
So far have opened them and tested them, all 5 pads are working, so far best temps I got were on a 2.1A power bank. Cant seem to get them warmer then 106°F.Plan to update in a few days when I use them outside.************UPDATE************have had and been using for a week now. I planned on using them while hunting as hand warmers in my hand muff. So for the last week I have had them under my *very thin* mouse pad using a 2.1A power bank. So I've tested a lot of power supplies this week, different amps and voltages. Without hitting them with a lot more then 2.1A, 106°F is the highest temp I can get them. They all get warm (all 5 pads) and they all are evenly heated, my zippo hand warmer is a lot hotter will continue to be used outside for now. I still give them 4 stars because they all work, they all get hot, they heat evenly, and work as they should. 1 star lost due to lack in "advertised" temperatures with recommend power bank.

Did not meet my needs.
The pads do heat, but unevenly. On low, they reached about 120 F, medium 130 F, high 140 F.However, only about 20-25% of the pad gets that warm. The rest was pretty close to room temperature. The pads were connected to a 3.4 Amp supply and should have had plenty of power. I measured them every 5 minutes for 20 minutes. They maintained temperature but only that small spot already mentioned. The pads are connected in a chain, which should be fine for a jacket, but didn't suit my needs. This was not clear to me in the pictures or descriptions.I cannot recommend these heating pads because only a small portion of the pad reaches the desired temperature. If the whole pad warmed up, they would probably be ok.

These pads are best used close to the body rather than in an outer layer such as a coat.
I was not satisfied with the heated garmets being offered so I recently bought these heating pads to develop my own heated clothes. Specifically, I do not want to heat my coat or even my vest or body warmer. I would prefer the warmth closer to my body. For this application I have found this product very suitable because the pads give a comfortable, mild heat level even on the lowest setting.Secondy, I do not believe the claims made by the heated garmet supliers that you can machine wash the garmets with all the wiring in it. So I want to be able to take the pads out and throw the closes in the wash.To get to know the product I just taped the pads to the inside of a fleece body warmer and wore it over a t-shirt (one layer off my body) On the lowest setting it was fantastic and just what I was looking for. I am currenetly working out how to attach (and detach) the pads to my clothes. First idea was to use velcro. It works but needs some more develpment. Will keep you posted.
