Great looking and functioning bin, that still could better in a few areas.Pros:Looks greatSturdy buildGrips alright to the floor, which means it doesn't move too much when pressing down on the pedal.Cons:You can't completely hide the bag, it shows a little at the top.Not soft close (not as much of a problem as I had feared, as the bag will soften the noise a bit when closing)This bin is a bit more expensive than others and I had hoped that a hidden bag and soft close would be the justification for the price. I'm still fairly happy with the bin as it is better than my previous one, but those 2 features would be great in the future.

Very pleased with this product, an excellent y but. Silent and easy to keep clean and hygienic.

It says it is fingerprint-proof, and it truly is. I have to admit this was the key thing I considered when I bought this bin, and it totally served the purpose. What more, the bin is so sturdy, and pedal feels very solid. I have a feeling this one is going to stay a long time in my en-suite - the old one that we had to replace collapsed after 5 years. It was a £10 purchase from Next so I am not going to complain. This simplehuman bin is superb, it is heavy, and it is certainly expensive, but it is worth it.I would also recommend you get the 4.5L model if you plan to keep this in your bathroom that you use everyday. It is so much more convenient compared to a standard 3L, you don't have to change it every 3-4 days, you change it once every weekend, during your cleaning chores, it just makes life easier. and it's not that much more expensive compared to the 3 model.I wouldn't recommend the special liner though. Three samples came with the bin so I used them of course, but apart from being neater-looking and that they have a sealing feature they are merely a very expensive alternative to the standard small liners that you can get from Sainsbury's.

Bin looks sleek and discrete in the bathroom, finishing of product is great, soft peddle close works well and doesn't slip too much when opening and closing the bin. Comes with 2 bin liners from simple human which fit exactly in the bin whilst hiding the liner from appearing on the outside

Unfortunately this bin has a problem with lid it’s not centered
