I love the removable try.

This scale is better than the one I had already of similar price range. This one measures accurately. It has a stainless cover plate that can be removed to wash (albeit very hard to get off). It comes with good (Duracell) batteries not yet installed. It is easy to use and program and has tare feature which zeros out the weight of whatever is on it and lets you measure what you add after that separately. Very handy for multiple ingredients or adjusting for container weights.The paint on this strips too easily unfortunately. I dropped some essential oils on it and the paint wiped right off and left the scale body very sticky/tacky. It also takes a bit long to turn off and I haven't yet figured out how to manually turn it off. Wastes the battery. It is quite small, and constructed of very light materials. I'd rather have something more durable. It is crazy low profile, making it stable.So, this is a good scale for a low budget. It works great. Accurate enough for soap etc. It is not a large or nice scale and time will tell how long it lasts.

Great scale for the price.

Serious bakers work by weight, not volume. But for that you need a good scale. This is a good scale.- The right button says it's for ounces or grams, but there are actually three settings, ounces, grams, and pounds & ounces. Yes this matters. (Divide by 16 and keep the remainder. Sure. Unless I'm already keeping track of six other numbers).- The scale will turn itself off after five minutes, but a long press on the left button will turn the scale off immediately. Again, this matters. (The instructions also claim there is a switch inside the battery compartment to turn off auto-timeout completely, but my scale doesn't have this).- The scale does negative numbers. So, put the two pound bag of flour on the scale, hit "tare" to zero it, and scoop out until the scale shows negative the weight you wanted. Kismet!- The coating is robust. My kitchen appliances periodically get wiped down with either vinegar or rubbing alcohol. Some cheaper painted electronics can't handle this, and the paint will wipe off. This one had no problem.- The stainless platform fits tightly over the regular one, and is fully washable.The scale also comes packaged in pressed paper (no styrofoam), and two real Duracell batteries are included (not some Chinese knockoff brand that will die in a week). Nicely done folks.

This round professional digital scale is great and measure up to 11lbs. Great for mailing labels or even for food portions. Works great. Calibrated well. Not too big (fits in my hand and spans my whole hand... not heavy either).
