Extremely satisfied - well made and fit perfectly
I couldn't be more pleased with these replacement handles. My old ones rotted, primarily use to the bolts that attached them rusting and creating rot in the bolt holes. This is on an older two-wheeled Craftsman wheelbarrow. I really wanted to keep this wheelbarrow alive, as they don't make them this well anymore, but I was concerned that the handles I bought would not fit correctly and bolt holes would not line up. These handle arrived and I instantly noticed they are well made and were finished well with polyurethane or similar durable finish. The bolt holes lined up exactly with the old handles and I was able to install them with no issues whatsoever. I did replace all the rusty bolts with stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers to avoid the rust problem in the future. Once back together, this wheelbarrow is more solid than the day I bought it, as these handles are better quality than the original ones, not to mention they were substantially cheaper than if I had bought them at our local hardware store, where they were more expensive and came unfinished and undrilled.

Great replacement handles
Got these for a Jackson Wheelbarrow. They fit perfectly. Seem like nice quality hardwood as well. The items (bolts and wedges) that came recommended with these were total garbage though.

Good fit.
Worked as advertised. No idea how durable it will be but looks to be of good quality. I do think they should have included replacement hardware and the tapered wood wedges.

My son assembled his project today and was very pleasantly surprised at the overall quality. This purchase is a real winner!!!

Perfect fit for my Jackson wheelbarrow!
I bought these handles to replace the old rotten ones on my vintage Jackson contractor grade wheelbarrow. They fit perfectly — all the holes lined up. I didn’t try to reuse the old nuts and bolts because they were rusted beyond recognition. New nuts and bolts from the hardware store cost me about 12 bucks. I need a new wood wedges to go between the handles in the tub – I just made new ones on the tablesaw out of some old pressure treated lumber I had laying around. The only thing about these handles that I needed to modify was for the front bracket. The holes lined up perfectly, but there are only two of them. My wheelbarrow bracket requires four holes, so I just had to drill two more holes. That was a piece of cake with a paddle bit. It all came together good as new. This was a much better solution than buying a brand new Jackson wheelbarrow of this quality for probably $250 at Home Depot.

Be sure to measure
I replaced a set of handles because one had broken in half. All the nuts and bolts were rusted and fused together and had to be cut off and replaced, so I went to Lowe’s and bought the same size. They were carriage bolts and the wheelbarrow tub was plastic. As it turned out, the new handles are about an inch thicker from top to bottom, so back to Lowe’s to buy longer bolts. Then, in installing the bolts in the tub, they just spun when tightening the nuts, because the carriage head holes in the old plastic tub had stripped.Back to Lowe’s to get new hex head bolts and 2” washers.. The handles are great and I have a lot of new additions to my nut and bolt drawer.

They work.
They work perfectly.I have tried (Lowes home improvement) & they told me they don't carry replacement handles. (Home Depot) is the same way. They use to carry them in the past. I use to get them there. Something recently happened & they changed. They're trying to force you into buying a new wheel barrel. I don't think that's the Jackson's companies doing. I think it's Lowe's doing. Don't fall for it. I picked up some handles but learned the holes didn't line up, so I decided to look on Amazon & to my relief I found the right ones at a reasonable rate. I got the bolts & nuts all tightened down. They're still a little loose. & that was my fault. Anyways I'm happy, I had to replace them. Cause I use my wheelbarrel a lot. Hauling wood. My old handles were rotting, & I am happy to replace them. If you want my advice, don't let Lowe's swindle you into buying a new wheelbarrel. There are replacement handles. & I enjoy saving a ton of money! I finally got it in gear!

Save you money just buy a new wheelbarrow
Let me start out by saying I bought a Jackson wheelbarrow 3 years ago mainly because I saw the contractors using them. I figured them were durable, I was wrong. One handle broke causing me to buy a pair from Amazon. The handles arrive strapped together and when you separated them the thin poly sealer came off.The handles arrive without the wood shim which you need to replace because it is just as rotten as the handles. I had to get the neighbor to cut me a piece for each side on his table saw.You will need new carriage bolts because the ones on there are not galvanized and will need to be cut off.So let’s see $40.00 for handles $10.00 for new bolts. 3 hours of a work.Still have a rusted wheelbarrow and an old tire.Save yourself aggravation Jackson Wheelbarrows are not any better than any one else’s. Buy a new wheelbarrow.I could have bought a new one for $50.00 more.

Perfect fit for a Jackson
The pair of handles cost me nearly half the price of a brand-new Jackson wheelbarrow (heavy-duty plastic blue plastic, about $230; the last one a dealer had (and not getting any more of Jackson; would not give me a deal). The bucket of the old one - the same model - is scuffed and little encrusted with concrete. The handles were replaced once before (when I could get them around here). At the time my buddy braced the metal parts with aluminum plates and, more importantly, replaced the wheel assembly with a trailer wheel and rubber (not nylon) tire. The rubber tire is superb: incomparably better than nylon or no-flat tires. It glides over the contour of the terrain without slipping sideways, and it simply floats over depressions without slamming into the opposite side of the hole. This is most precious.(My former El-Cheapo employers - of an economy-minded ethnicity - pumped concrete into a tire; the wheelbarrow dug into the ground, going like a missile to China in a straight line; they thought it was a grand money-saving affair.)My niece with time on her hand decided to replace the handles. (1) The handles were somewhat stuck together because of protective coating, (2) and the usual issue of rusted nuts and bolts was encountered. Small matters, she did the job without a hassle, otherwise.I thought it was a gamble whether the handles would fit. Another 20 years, maybe. It's a pity that Jackson plastic wheelbarrows are not easily available anymore. A metal Jackson I broke in no time.

Exactly as advertised
Purchased as a present for a friend whose wheelbarrow handle broke. Took the broken ones off and replaced them with these and Voila. As good as new.

They do what they are supposed to do.
Worked great, had to drill a new pair of holes, as the alignment was slightly off from my bucket... worked out well in the end.
